Winchester Veterinary Group Hospital, Winchester, MA. With MD Architects

Project Overview:

The project is a tenant improvement to an existing retail space for use as a veterinary office.

Contribution

I’ve been deeply involved in every aspect of the project, from modeling the existing building to finalizing the schematic design plans and issuing permit set documents. I was coordinating with the county to obtain the required information on codes and regulations.

Key Highlights:

I was the sole person working on the project for both drawings and sheet preparation. I was given the freedom to work independently with deadlines.

Conclusion

From inception to completion, I took charge of every aspect of the project, meeting all deadlines autonomously. This experience underscores my capability to deliver quality outcomes while adhering to regulations, exemplifying my proficiency in managing projects effectively.

The project entails the construction of an addition to an existing veterinary clinic (Phase 1) followed by the interior remodeling of the clinic (Phase 2).

Contribution

I’ve been involved in every phase of the project, from modeling the existing building to finalizing the Schematic Design plans for both the addition and remodeling. I handled the entire sheet set, including permit and bid sets, and ensured accuracy by marking, picking, and checking redlines throughout.

• Seamless involvement throughout the project lifecycle, from schematic design phase to construction drawings.

• Diligent oversight of redlines and meticulous attention to detail ensured accuracy and compliance at every stage.

Conclusion

Nemours Community health center was a studio projects during my Master’s , a collaborative work with the architecture firm HDR and Nemours Hospital.

The main goal of this project was to design a community health clinic that serves the

The stepped landscape acts as gathering/recreational space for the people of community. The therapy space of the hospital in the lower ground level can be used as a community gym to restore the health of the people while also being resilient to tornadoes as it is below the ground level with covered shelter.

The site for GODAVARI KALAKSHETRAM, Kalakshetram means auditorium in Telugu, was proposed by the bank of river Godavari to accommodate 1200 people.

Additional recommended facilities were:

1. Art Gallery

2. Experimental theatre/banquet

3. Workshop space/Cafe

Aims & Objectives

NAMASTE

This joining of hands symbolizes the meeting of two souls, and the release of negativity. The weave between the palms depicts the fabric that connects different cultures.

OPEN ARMS

The extending walls of the structure bring along a sense of belonging, by evoking a welcoming emotion.

BOAT

Bridges the gap between the river banks and creates a platform for cultural exchange between people of various communities, caste, religion, and ethnicity. An intellectual hotstop where new ideas are born, art flourishes, and boundaries disappear.

“GAME POINT” - Hyderabad, India

The Game Point, a sports complexAn individual project handled by me during through the design development and construction documentation phase under the guidance of the principal architect of the design firm ‘Lords’

It is now an existing project in the most happening place of Hyderabad, India. It under went it’s first phase of construction, i.e.,. the ground floor level. The outdoor space for the basketball court and the upper first level is the part of the second phase which hasn’t been constructed yet.

Client requirements:

• 6 Badminton courts

• 2 Squash courts

• 1 Table tennis room

• An Auditorium

• A sports shop

• A canteen & Admin

Design Concepts & Evolution:

• The main aim was to accommodate international standard courts for all the games and sports in the proposed site.

• The site being located at a major intersection of two roads in a happening area, the entrance was designed to be a focal point. This was achieved by the a curved structure.

• Accessibility and high end amenities were prioritized.

• ‘Vastu’ was a driving element through out the design development phase.
