Harborlight’s Early Childhood afterschool classes and clubs offer opportunities for creative growth in our students. The program is designed to appeal to students’ interests in different areas within a supportive atmosphere of professional guidance. All Harborlight early childhood students are invited to enjoy the experience of creative exploration and discovery in our after school classes and clubs.

Classes are available Monday through Friday, 3:30-4:30 PM DAILY SCHEDULE 3:00-3:30 Snack & Free Play 3:30-4:30 Creative Discovery Classes 4:30-5:30 Free Play & Story Time (Please register for C Block to reserve this time)

Take nature walks around the campus, collect natural materials, make art with natural material, study nature in new and amazing ways! CLAY WORKS ………………………………….. Jamie Oakley Monday in Early Childhood 6 Ages 3‐6 Minimum: 8 Maximum 10 Fee: $80 (B block students $40) What can you do with a small lump of clay? Learn to create pinch pots and so much more! Explore with a wide variety of clays and modeling techniques. COOKING ………………………………….. Brandi‐Lin Wilkins Wednesday in Early Childhood 5 Ages 3‐6 Minimum: 8 Maximum 10 Fee: $80 (B block students $40) Go grab an apron! This cooking class is ready to stir up some tasty and very healthy snacks and mini‐ meals! Discover new food items with Brandi‐Lin and put them all together to treat yourself to something you’ve never tried before!

Explore the relationships of these small bricks that snap to‐ gether to form grand structures; build from your own imagination and create stories to go along with your structures or take the lego challenge! Learn the tricks, the skills, and have fun learning how to score on Cindy! Children must wear athletic sneakers and gym clothes, shin guards are optional. Pack your bags and get ready to stamp your passports as you discover distant lands! Tuesdays or Thursdays in the Spanish Room This club will introduce the children to geography, his‐ Ages 3‐6 tory, landmarks, architecture, natural wonders, native Minimum: 8 Maximum 10 languages‐ stories‐ and foods! Like to think ahead? Interested in competi‐ tion? Scholars Chess is for you! This club explores advanced chess moves, piece identification, and strategies which enable you to learn to play the game of chess. Chess tournaments will be scheduled.

ADVENTURE CLUB……………………………Kim Lord & Peter Dickman Wednesday (location varies), 3:00‐4:30 Ages 6‐12 Minimum: 6 Maximum: 16 Fee: $120 (B block students $60) Connect with nature and your climbing side during this adventure club. Scale rocks inside and out with a harness and without. Challenge yourself using low elements and playing ground games, learn about teamwork, cooperation and self confidence. We will divide this club up into 3 sessions of climbing, hiking and low/high elements. GEOLOGY CLUB…………………………………………….Cindy Perreault Wednesday in ECE 1 Ages 6‐9 FLAG FOOTBALL, JR.…………………………………………….
