Dear Camp Harbor Families, Welcome to our Workshop Programs!

Workshops are held before camp from 8 am to 9 am or after camp from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Workshops are offered for a flat rate regardless of enrollment in the Camp Harbor program. There will be no pro-rating of workshop pricing, except for the week in which camp is closed due to the Fourth of July holiday.

We may add or change Workshops over the course of the year. Please refer to camp e-blasts and the camp website for changes.

July 7th - August 15th

Whisk & Mix - International Flavors

Grades K-8

AM Workshop

Welcome to Whisk & Mix, the coolest club where kids become little chefs and explore the world—one yummy recipe at a time! Each day, we travel to a new country through baking, learning to make tasty treats. From sweet desserts to savory snacks, kids will mix, whisk, and bake. It’s hands-on, delicious, and a great way to make new friends while learning new kitchen skills. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and love for food.

Tennis with Ms. Morgan

Grades K-3

AM Workshop

Get ready to serve up fun and learn the fundamentals of tennis in this exciting and engaging workshop designed just for kids! Whether your child is a beginner or looking to improve their game, our friendly and experienced coaches will guide them through essential skills like grip, footwork, strokes, and game play — all in a safe, supportive environment. Through games, drills, and interactive activities, kids will build coordination, confidence, and teamwork, all while having a blast on the court!

Math

Grades 1-4

PM Workshop

The focus will be on basic skills in addition and subtraction, including problem solving, speed drills, money, geometric shapes (for younger grades), telling time, skip counting, place value, and basic geometry (for the older grades). Manipulatives, group activities, games, and various workbooks will be used. The specific goals of enrolled students will be addressed.

Language Arts

Grades 1-4

AM workshop

Students focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary development, phonics and writing skills. The enjoyment of reading and writing will be stressed in this class as students strengthen their skills. Various textbooks, workbooks, games, and skill series will be used. The goals of the students enrolled will be taken into consideration when planning the specifics of the curriculum

Beginner Rock Guitar Workshop with Ryan Romanelli

PM Workshop

Join us for a fun and engaging guitar workshop led by Ryan Romanelli, designed especially for beginner guitarists! In this workshop, students will explore a collection of popular rock songs—both classic and modern—that are easy to learn and exciting to play. Each session will begin with a full listen of the song, followed by a step-by-step breakdown of the chords and playing techniques. Using custom PowerPoint presentations, Ryan will guide participants through the structure and arrangement of each song in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. The focus is on building confidence, developing basic skills, and most importantly—having fun with music. Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your chord knowledge, this workshop is the perfect place to rock out and learn!

Grades 1-4

The focus will be on basic skills in addition and subtraction, including problem solving, speed drills, money, geometric shapes (for younger grades), telling time, skip counting, place value, and basic geometry (for the older grades). Manipulatives, group activities, games and various workbooks will be used. The specific goals of enrolled students will be addressed.

Cooperative Games

Grades K-3

AM Workshop

Working together is a key piece of being on a team. Through a variety of hands-on games and activities, campers will work together to accomplish the daily game challenge. All games will require campers to move, think, problem-solve, and get their heart rates pumping. Some games will be Mission Impossible, Marble Challenge, Boat Races, and many more.

Lanyard Workshop: Weave, Twist & Create!

3-8 Grade

PM Workshop

Join Art Teacher Mrs. O'Dwyer at camp for a fun and hands-on lanyard workshop where you'll learn cool braiding and stitching techniques to create colorful keychains, zipper pulls, and more! Whether you're a beginner or a lanyard pro, we’ll teach you classic stitches like the box, barrel, and butterfly, plus some tricks to take your designs to the next level! Grab your favorite colors, get creative, and leave with awesome handmade creations to show off and use all year long. Don’t miss out! Let’s get twisting, looping, and crafting!

Creative Writing/Meditation Workshop

Grade K-6

PM workshop

In this immersive workshop, students will explore the many forms of creative writing— including poetry, short stories, plays, ad-libs, journaling, and more. Through guided meditation and time spent in nature, they'll learn to quiet the mind and connect with their inner voice, using mindfulness as a tool to unlock creativity. Whether they're seasoned writers or just beginning, students will leave inspired, grounded, and equipped with new techniques to express themselves through words.

Whisk & Mix- Let's Bake!

Grades K-8th

Am Workshop

Do you love cookies, cupcakes, and everything sweet? Join the Let's Bake club and become a mini chef! We'll learn how to mix, whisk, and decorate yummy treats together. No baking experience needed—just bring your creativity and your sweet tooth. Let’s have fun in the kitchen and make some delicious memories!

Grades K-3

AM Workshop

The Math Games Workshop is a place where students will play math games to strengthen their number sense and math skills. Students will also work together to build their own math board games! Students will play various card games and build their repertoire of math games for fun! Great for the summer time.

Ukulele

Grade 2-8

PM Workshop

The ukuleles are back! Go beyond the basic ukulele lesson learned in music class to refine your craft and become a ukulele extraordinaire. Learn new notes and techniques, so you can jam out to the sweet sounds of the ukulele. Please Note: Ukuleles are supplied by Camp Harbor, but spots are limited.

Stamp & Story

Grade 2-8

PM workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to design and create your own custom stamps and artistic bookmarks! This session is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike who want to explore simple yet rewarding printmaking and paper craft techniques.

Homemade Arts and Crafts

Grades K-5

PM Workshop

Homemade arts and crafts club where students learn to make origami, cards, bracelets, and other creations with authenticity. Students will also learn to gift wrap their homemade gifts and make them personal by adding a tag to share who it is from.

Brain Boosters

Grade 3-5

Am Workshop

Students in grades 3-5 will think outside of the box to create games, make and figure out patterns, and learn and break codes in this exciting and hands-on workshop. Some activities will include matching and memory games, riddles and brain teasers, and breaking different types of codes. Come explore and work your mind in new and creative ways!

Basketball Grades 4-8

PM Workshop

Available 7/8

Want to become the King or Queen of camp knockout? Work on your game in this exciting weeklong basketball clinic. Campers will learn the fundamentals of shooting, rebounding, dribbling, defense, and passing through games and contests. No prior experience necessary, just an interest in the sport. Minimum of 8 campers needed for this workshop to run.

Chess Grades 1-5

PM Workshop

Learn how to play chess, including basic moves and all of the rules. Needs 10 to run.

Sewing

Grades 2-8

AM Workshop

Spend the week learning to sew! This workshop will consist of a few different sewing projects for beginners using felt, needles, and string. Students will learn a couple of different stitches and sewing techniques to help further their knowledge.

A Summer Stitch Up

Grade 5-8

Join Our Knitting Workshop! Grab your yarn and let's make some magic! Whether you're a total beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this hands-on knitting workshop is the perfect place to get creative. Come and chill, chat, and create while learning the basics of finger knitting.

Are you a master builder or just love getting creative with Legos? Join the LEGO Builders Club and bring your ideas to life, one brick at a time! Whether you enjoy designing epic creations, tackling fun challenges, or just building for fun, this is the club for you! Students will take home their creations at the end of the session!

Multiplication and Division Masters

Entering 3rd-4th Graders

Campers will learn and/or brush up on the concepts of multiplication and division through hands-on activities and games. Campers will learn strategies to become successful mathematicians.

Kindergarten Readiness

Get ready for Kindergarten! In this workshop we will be working on skills your child needs to be successful during their first year in school. From letter names and sounds, to numbers and counting, and social skills, children will work both independently and together to have fun while they're learning. Don't miss out!
