[Greetings From New York] New York City Skyscraper Design

Create a mix-used skyscraper at the boundary between Soho and Tribeca district in New York city, the building will provide commercial area at bottom level, WeWork offices at middle levels, and high-end condo units at upper levels. In order to maintain the harmony of the historic districts, we selected the materials which are commonly used in Soho and Tribeca---red brick, black granite, and bronze.

Our goal is to build a connection between the new generation skyscraper and the historic skyscraper, historic step-back, elements, and proportion will be applied on the new building.

The ground floor consisted of commerical space, leasing office, and lobbies. There are 3 large commerical space on West side, 2 smaller commerical space on South side. We set 2 lobbies for the building, the main lobby designed for the offices. Another secondary lobby on North side was designed for the upper level condo units, which is separated from the main lobby due to the pravicy issue.

The main lobby and secondary lobby are connected through staircase due to safty consideration

[OMNI Capstone Charrette] Collaborative urban design and architecture project at downtown Maimi, involving students in the MRED+U and MCM

The project targeted on connect with Miami Worldcenter in the future, create a high-end comprehensive community at the heart of Miami with retail, hotels, residential, offices, and public parks. An opportunity to approach the Miami city at a conceptual base as well as an opportunity to test ideas through the five stages of development: concept, design, approvals, construction, and sales. By working with unban design and real estate students, contacting with land owners and developers from the city.

[Bahamas Hurricane] Marsh Harbor Resiliency Center Design

On September 1st, 2019, Hurricane Dorian made landfall on the Abaco Islands. The catastrophic effects were among the worst known in the history of the Bahamian archipelago. The focus of the studio is the design of a Resiliency Center with primary function of sheltering people during times of emergency, and an ancillary that would guarantee the continuous use during regular climatic conditions. Our proposal focused on the creation of a Maritime Training Academy near the existing port of Marsh Harbor.

For the hurricane prevention, the project proposes modular units that form temporary dewellings for residents. The units work pair with the existing facilities of the Academy during and after the hurricane.

The project proposes modular units that form the temporary dewellings for residents. These units dewellings work paired with the existing facilities of the Maritime Academy, could allow residents to remain in their community and rebuild rather than abandon their adobes for lack of working infarstructure. The units allow to be transported by ships and unload at the dock, which is also designed as part of the facility.

[Trastervere East] The Idea of Flux Incrementalism of City

An urban space study in Trastevere East Rome, it follows a very particular methodology that has to do with complexity theory with a the initial conditions are known by the future of the interventions in the public spaces within that area were completely unknown at the very beginning, the way that the process worked was we selected nine piazzas in the area and each piazza take over by a two people group. The idea was to reinvent these public urban spaces in metaphysical way.
