Meeting once day a month for six months, the program focuses on key components of the community, including: education, economic development, health and wellness, local government and state government. This year’s class was the program’s largest yet. “I am new to the Hanover area, so being part of the Leadership Hanover Program has been a great way meet other business professionals and go behind the scenes to understand how and why our community operates the way it does. In addition to meeting key players in the community, I have a better understanding of the difficult decisions they face, how decisions are made, and how these decisions shape the

future of our community,” said Kyle Barmoy, Marketing & Operations Manager at Hanover Land Services and 2018 Leadership Hanover graduate. Tuition for the program is $1,200, which covers all training materials, transportation, lunch and five-full day sessions. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for any business wishing to gain recognition through the program while maintaining a seat in the current session. The 2018-19 session will begin in October; applications must be received by August 31. For those with questions about the program, two info sessions will be held on June 6 and July 11 from 12-1 p.m. at the Hanover Chamber Office. RVSP to office@hanoverchamber.com.
