DIRECTORY LISTING Did you know that you can edit and improve your directory listing on our website? You can update your address, phone, website, and representative information on the directory listing by logging into the Member Information Center. Snack Town Street Fair 2022 is moving to July! Snack Town Street Fair is moving to the summer! After pushing the event to the fall in 2021 due to precautions, we are happy to announce the date for the 2nd Annual Snack Town Street Fair is Saturday, July 16, 2022. Join the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce and Utz Brands for a day in Downtown Hanover! Early bird vendor applications are open for all vendors! Register before March 12th to receive early bird pricing. New this year, applications can be completed online. Artists and crafters, businesses, gamers, non-profits, food trucks, bakers and brewers are all invited to participate. Leadership Hanover Class of 2021-22 Our Leadership Hanover class of 2021-22 met on Friday, January 7th, for their “Community Health Day”. The class started with a tour of WellSpan Health and Surgery Center before going to the YWCA for panel discussions and lunch. For the first panel discussion of the day we were joined by Dr. Kurt Thomas, UPMC Hanover; Michele Mummert, WellSpan Health; Garret Trout, TrueNorth Wellness Services; Karen Jones, Cognitive Health Solutions. After lunch, Oliver Hazan, Cross Keys Village Senior Living; Hattie Gable, Visiting Nurse Association of Hanover & Spring Grove and Jody Shaffer, YWCA joined us for our second panel discussion. Thank you to WellSpan Health for welcoming our group in the morning, YWCA for hosting our panel discussions, Warehouse Gourmet for providing lunch, and all our panelists. Business Briefs EVEROAK INSURANCE GROUP IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE TWO RECENT ADDITIONS TO THEIR GROWING TEAM Kristy Winters is a native of Westminster, MD. She attended Westminster High School and graduated from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Kristy has been in the insurance field since 2015. She resides in Hanover, PA with her husband Wes and two daughters. Outside of work, Kristy enjoys attending her daughters’ sporting events and spending time with family at Raystown Lake and at the beach. Jared Lawrence is a native of Adams/ Hanover, PA area. He was born in Hanover and grew up in McSherrystown where he attended Delone Catholic High School. Jared’s professional career consists of 21 years of banking experience prior to joining Everoak Insurance Group as a licensed agent. Jared currently resides in Hanover, PA. He enjoys spending time with his family including attending their soccer matches. He is a longtime fan of Notre Dame sports and is currently a member of the Notre Dame club of Gettysburg. He is also a member of the Brushtown Athletic Association, McSherrystown Knights of Columbus, and McSherrystown Moose.
