The Chamber has been publishing Discover Hanover since 2009. It started as a member directory for the Chamber, but has grown to showcase member and nonmember businesses in the Hanover Area. Discover Hanover Magazine is produced in cooperation with the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce and the community. Chamber members are featured throughout the magazine in our categories; Experience, Eat, Drink, Shop, and Stay. All Chamber members are listed in the back of the magazine in the membership directory as part of your membership to the Chamber. You may see that some members have logos and wording in the directory. These options are called Upgraded Listings or Enhanced Listings. Members can purchase these options or ad space within the magazine. The 2023 edition will highlight the Chamber’s 100th anniversary. We plan to celebrate all of Hanover’s rich history in 2023 with the assistance from the Hanover Historical Society.

We are making several exciting changes in 2023! Rack cards will be introduced with a QR code to the digital edition of the magazine. This rack card will reach five states and increase our reach for the magazine. Readers will also have the chance to win a weekend in Hanover! Any businesses interested in offering a Hanover experience can contact Sarah Messer, Membership & Events Coordinator at smesser@hanoverchamber.com to discuss. Lastly, don't miss Discover Hanover Night with the York Revolution on September 8th! Any businesses who reserves ad space by August 5th will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win tickets to the game. If you are interested in advertising in Discover Hanover, please reach out to Caitlin Johnson, Marketing & PR Manager at cjohnson@hanoverchamber.com. Discover Hanover® magazine and rack cards are funded by Explore York, through the York County Tourism Grant Committee.

Welcome to the Chamber's new intern, Lola Garman! Hi! My name is Lola Garman and I am the new intern for the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce. I have been working with the Chamber staff for about a month now and I have loved every minute of it. I will be helping with the Discover Hanover magazine, planning events, and more! I am currently going into my senior year at Hanover High School. I like to keep myself busy with lots of school activities and sports. I play for the school varsity basketball team and am the goalie for our soccer team. I also hold the position of senior class president, the National Honor Society secretary, and I am a member of Student Council and Key Club. Along with sports, I am also involved in various different musical programs. I play the baritone saxophone and viola and am also involved in my school’s Steel Drum ensemble.
