Bailey Austin Design - Collaborative Designs
The redesign of the residence located directly on Lake Eufaula began in November 2023 and was completed during the internship period in June 2024. The installation team traveled by vehicle with packed items essential for finishing the redesign. Preparations for the trip involved reviewing spreadsheets to ensure all items were accounted for and properly packed for transportation.
Utilization
During the installation, the focus was on making the interior rooms picturesque for a professional photoshoot. This involved utilizing detailed design boards that outlined the desired aesthetic for each room, including specific arrangements for bedding and decor. By following these design boards, each room was meticulously styled to reflect the intended design vision, ensuring that every detail was in place for the photoshoot.

Bailey Austin Design - Collaborative Designs
This multi-level residence in Denver, Colorado, underwent a redesign with Bailey Austin Design beginning in June 2023. The project, encompassing six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, took approximately one year to complete. In May 2024, preparations for the installation of the finished designs were part of the internship program.
Preparation
In preparation for the installation of the redesigned residence in Denver, Colorado, spreadsheets were prepared to manage last-minute necessities and travel plans. These spreadsheets tracked essential materials and supplies for the installation and organized travel arrangements for the installation team, including transportation, accommodation, and scheduling.
RESIDENTIAL
Timeline
On installation day, the day began with a flight from Tulsa, OK to Denver, CO at 6 AM, arriving at the residence by 8 AM. The work started with unpacking, organizing client items, and styling each room. Next, packaging, protective wrapping, and trash were cleared from the home. A final walkthrough with the general contractor ensured that everything was ready for presentation to the client. After completing these tasks, a flight back to Tulsa, OK was taken at 10 PM.
Duties
Tasks involved removing packaging from decor, unpacking client clothing into dressers, directing movers for furniture placement, and styling bookshelves.

Personal Furniture Design
The dorm room design embraced Mexican cultural influences with organic shapes, soft edges, and arches, inspired by the fluidity of folklorico dancers' dresses. The design featured a hanging light fixture and a lamp, both influenced by stained glass windows in Mexican cathedrals. Created using SketchUp, these pieces added warmth and color, perfectly complementing the room’s theme.

Group Project
To craft a design focused around “organized chaos” with both abstract artwork and tranquil aspects of the beach to create a sense of modernism and organic movement for comfort and community in the home to age in place.

Bailey Austin Design - Collaborative Designs
Bailey Austin Design began planning for this new build residence in Tulsa, OK, starting in May 2024. During the internship, preliminary design practices were performed prior to the start of construction. To help the client visualize the space, SketchUp and AutoCAD were utilized to create 3D images.

Portrayal
Design boards were provided as inspiration for creating the fireplace and living room design for the client. These boards showcased different materials and design elements that helped shape the design choices. During the internship, AutoCAD drawings were used to create a 3D SketchUp model, highlighting the distinctive design features of Bailey Austin Designs.

Representation
The extensive floor plan, consisting of twenty-five interior spaces, was used to apply the Bailey Austin Design team’s dimensions and designs into a 3D SketchUp model. The process of modeling details was beneficial for presenting the project to the client. As elevations were altered the 3D model was kept up to date adding elements as they were completed.

To create an art studio that is naturally lit, has a creative atmosphere, an uplifting environment, neutral colors, and is welcoming and inclusive to all artists. Wanted to foster an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and inspired to create art.

Digital rendering of a residential home. First attempt using Adobe Photoshop to render a provided blank floorplan. Applying depth and dimension along with imported materials and textures. Shadows and shading add dimension and detail to the rendering.

Cabinet design for kitchen, bathroom and storage rooms. Mozaik learned and utilized in all modeling for clients. Transferred construction plans into program.

Allowing the family, the space to welcome a new member surrounded by a filling the atmosphere with comfort and intimacy surrounding the mother and her family
Design Influence
Background
The labor process depends on the comfort and safety the mother feels within the space. To gain an understanding of the patient’s needs, I will ensure the highest rate of wellbeing and connection for mother and baby.
Research
Understanding the effects of spatial planning and color theory will allow for the room to connect with the mother and labor team in the safest and most comfortable healthcare setting.

Furniture selection was crucial to ensure comfort, accessibility, and durability for older adults. The furniture includes features like armrests to support mobility and independence. The fabric was chosen for its durability and ease of cleaning, ensuring it can withstand wear and tear while maintaining a hygienic, welcoming environment.
