At the start of the new academic year, we welcomed our students from across the region to start their health & safety training with us here at Westfield Academy.

The training was organised by South Derbyshire CVS who collaborated with Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance to provide a range of qualifications for over 200 volunteers and staff members in youth work and children's services.

The majority of candidates who took part in this scheme were working towards their Highfield Level 1 Award in Health and Safety Awareness (RQF).
