The Indepedendent California based company has always been a step ahead when it comes to talking about style and progressive outerwear at the rigth price!

Many highlights coming from the 686 camp for the 2020 season. The Indepedendent California based company has always been a step ahead when it comes to talking about style and progressive outerwear at the rigth price, and in 2020 Mike West firm is reaching the top with several collaborations and new fabrics. Let’s start with technology: the unique Hydrastash Sync jacket, the only shell with an integrated hydratation sysyem hidden in the waist and consicutively not compromising the freedom of movement, has been further improved with a Gore-Tex 2 Layer fabric for unmatchable waterproofing and brethability. The gloves collection has been improved and now you can choose between four model for men and four for women, featuring premium materials like Gore-Tex, InfiDRY and Merino wool lining, and technologies such as the Soundtouch Touchscreen Technology and Movement Fit Hand Articulation. Now let’s talk about collaborations: the first one is curated by longtime Pro Victor Daviet, and sees 686 to collaborate with Salomon: The Red Dazed colorway is the matching point between the Hydrastash Sync Jacket and Salomon Launch Boots. Another interesting collaboration happened with the iconic streetwear

brand The Hundrends: A Gore-Tex Anorak in bright blue and yellow features the famous bomb logo on the belly pocket. Still talking about collab, the one that went underway with the legendary Metal band Slayer is one of a kind: the capsule includes a lightweight jacket, a hoody, mitts, balaclava, facemask and beanie, all of ‘em engraved with the infamous band red script. Further collabs took shape with headwear company Coal and P-Rod clothing and skateboard brand Primitive: also here each of them consists in a capsule collection featuring jackets, mitts and headwear. Last but not least, let’s talk about the last huge recruitement move of the last season: snowboard legend Gigi Ruf joined the 686 pro team, bringing his own unique approach and enforcing the already strong global 686 crew including Forest Bailey, Sammy Luebke, Phil Jacques, Victor Daviet, Matt Belzile and others. “I am honored to be offered a place on the 686 Team. With an independently owned venue, the welcome feels warm. I have always admired 686 for having their foot in the door for role models and talents to enter and getting to work on what makes our world different.” Gigi commented.
