The Kano City Hub is a commercial, recreational and services rendering centre of the Kano municipality. The hub will also be established in other LGAs around the state. Kano state which is known for it’s commercial identity aims to promote it while integrating it with the people, lifestyle and culture. The site selected for the inital project was the old Kano golf club which is now to be taken from and expanded.

This project showcases a sustainable and innovative approach to architecture through cargotecture, utilizing repurposed shipping containers to create a functional and community-centered hub. It integrates eco-friendly materials and technologies, promoting environmental responsibility. The design emphasizes adaptability, resource efficiency, and a modern aesthetic tailored to meet diverse community needs.

The project is an institutional buliding, Microfinance Bank for Bayero University Kano to cater for in-house transactions of the university and serve other microfinance services. It is a class project aimed at challenging students’ problem solving techniques. The objective of the project is to provide an improved banking facility for the university which in turn will bring about more efficient and reliable services rendering to the institution.
