When the situation reach such level (arrest, torture, risking health of population, deforming the country’s image, few to name), this become part of the political parties mandate and playfield, likewise for the CSOs, Human right groups to intervention. Governance, in democratic system, is not realized about the government of the day only, rather the harmonized (collective or individual) actions and functions the aforementioned parties and the state actors.

It is now beyond the ‘mere fixing the rotten situation of the doctors’. Do you agree with me that civil unrest and conflicts produces sideeffect and humanitarian situation? you cannot ignore addressing these byproducts( freeing of detains require more mediation for neutral partner). It should be of concern to see our political parties ‘stay still and watch’ so we 'keep it clean' kidding is it not?!

What is it bad about having different and contradicting views from and positions from persons belong to the same organization! Well political parties, anywhere, are usually not solid units. They are makeup wide of political platform where member’s views (and beliefs) spread like the 'bell shape' in statistics. So it is not surprising to find disagreements, contradiction when member voicing their opinion. We should, only, hold organization accountable when their spokesman sticks his neck out or opens his mouth on behalf of the institution (in form of press conference/ release/statement, rally, etc).

Finally let me dwell into SPLM's position of which I am a member (good to bring this up to clarify the conflict of interest): the party's position is clear. that doctors have fair and legitimate demands. it is part of the democratic transformation that trade union and civic organizations exercise their rights( including the right to peacefully demonstrate). SPLM official position is it’s communicated by secretariat (not cabinet member). I understand Dr. Tabitha’s position, which I totally disagree with (I wrote her a personal e mail). She acted on good faith and did not want to undermine her subordinates. But she got it wrong her staffs were politically motivated!
