2 ounce vodka

1 ounce coffee liqueur

1 ounce espresso

1/2 ounce simple syrup

3 Coffee beans

In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and simple syrup. Cover and vigorously shake until outside of shaker is very frosty and foam forms, about 15 seconds.

Double strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with coffee beans.

1 sugar cube

5 dashes Angostura bitters

Squeezed lemon peel

5 oz champagne

Garsh: lemon twist

Add a sugar cube to bottom of a champagne flute. Add 5 dashes of bitters to the sugar cube. Use a vegetable peeler to peel off a small strip of lemon skin. Squeeze the lemon skin into the flute to release the oils.

Fill with champagne,

Garnish with a lemon twist.
