HOMEVENT Sub-floor ventilation fan To combat the challenges associated with providing adequate ventilation in hardto-naturally ventilate spaces below suspended ground floors, Homevent has launched a mechanical ventilation alternative. The MORI WMF Weatherproof MultiFunctional Sub-Floor Ventilation Fan is designed to control air moisture content, as well as radon gas, in sub-floor spaces. It is weatherproof, which means it can be installed on the outside of the property, limiting maintenance to periodical inspection and cleaning from outside the home. The fan has been designed to deal with operating temperatures from -200C to 500C.

National Ventilation has launched a new whole-house ventilation design service for design and build projects, with a dedicated new specification team. Aimed at architects, developers and builders with developments of 100 plots or less the free service provides a full whole-house ventilation design, which will detail unit calculations, a full kit list, recommended duct routes, as well as a pre-order site visit where necessary. Made using non-combustible glass mineral wool, the ARC Eaves Insulator can be installed at the wall plate and ceiling junction to ensure thermal insulation. Designed to resolve issues of traditionally difficult to reach areas, the ARC Eaves Insulator is fitted from above before the roof covering is installed. The product is compatible with ventilation openings of 10,000mm2/m and available to fit 600mm rafter centres. It can also be used in conjunction with ventilated facia and soffit designs.

! BOBCAT R-Series telehandlers Launched in 2021, the first of Bobcat’s new R-Series telehandlers have been delivered in the UK. The three T41.140SLP 14 m Stage V telehandlers form part of an order for five T41.140SLPs purchased by Truelove Property and Construction Ltd, based in Lincoln. With standard tyres fitted, the T41.140SLP offers a maximum lift capacity of 4.1 tonne, a maximum lift height of 13.65m and a maximum forward reach of 9.8m. The new telehandlers are in use on current Truelove property developments in Lincolnshire, where the company is building individual two-storey family homes.
