! LOVELL APPOINTS NEW REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Lovell has appointed a new Regional Operations Director to its team in South Wales and South West. Paul Norman recently joined Lovell with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. His new role is to lead the operational team across the regional business. Paul said: “What has impressed me greatly in the short time I have been with the business is the strong sense of pride and commitment to delivering quality to our customers, and to leaving a positive legacy to the community in which we build. I am looking forward to working alongside a great team to achieve the best results possible.”
# HAYFIELD APPOINTS IN-HOUSE TECHNICAL MANAGER Hayfield has appointed Jason Hanney as a Technical Manager to facilitate expansion of the in-house team and enable more live sites to become operational. He joins from Seddon Construction where he was a Design Manager. Richard Everest, Technical Director for Hayfield said: “With a number of new Hayfield developments coming online at the same time, it was important to recruit someone with the experience and skillset to manage new projects from the outset. Jason has comprehensive knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC requirements and he appreciates how our Green Revolution Pledge ensures we greatly exceed the current Future Homes Standard. We are really pleased to have him on board.”
" TILIA HOMES APPOINTS NEW CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR Tilia Homes Northern, based in Warrington, has appointed John Mooney to the position of Construction and SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Director. John will oversee the construction process on the housebuilder’s developments across the Northern Region. As an SHE Director, he will also be responsible for ensuring and maintaining health, safety and compliance on-site. John said: “I’m thrilled to have joined Tilia at such a pivotal time for the business, with significant investment in the Northern region as it embarks on ambitious expansion plans. I’m looking forward to fully integrating into Tilia Homes and having an impact on improving and growing the business, building a stable team of professional people and inspiring future generations of construction professionals.”
! BEWLEY HOMES BOOSTS ITS TEAM WITH RECRUITMENT PUSH Bewley Homes – which built 424 new homes in 2021 – has recruited more than 50 new staff during the year. Amongst them were senior director positions appointed in land and planning, including Andrew Driscoll who joined the company as new Land Director for the western region, and will head up land acquisitions as well as supporting the growth of the new region. Geoff France has been promoted to Eastern Land Director having been with the company for over seven years and will be responsible for growing the home Geoff France (L) and Andrew Driscoll counties land opportunities.
