As a child, he watched his grandmother meticulously ferment soybeans to create miso paste. Years later, he brought this cherished family recipe to Toshi, adding his twist by infusing it with local herbs.

Taste of the Silk Road – Toshi’s Dumplings Dumplings have a special place in our hearts, just as they do in the hearts of the people along the Silk Road. Our dumplings are inspired by a recipe discovered in an ancient market in Xi’an, China. They symbolize the unity of cultures through the trade routes, with flavours that traverse borders. We take pride in recreating this sense of unity with every plate of dumplings we serve.
