n December 2, BTS wrapped up their four-day concert, BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA, at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The concert kicked off on November 27 and November 28 and continued on December 1 and December 2. This was BTS’s first in-person concert since their LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF [THE FINAL] concert in Seoul in 2019.
The concert was simultaneously streamed via LIVE PLAY in LA at the nearby YouTube Theater, and the final day, December 2, was available via online livestream to ARMY around the world. It is reported that a total of 813,000 people attended the concerts via in-person, simultaneous streaming, and livestream. Earlier, it was confirmed that BTS had been the first artists ever to sell out four shows at the SoFi Stadium.
The four-day concert included surprise appearances from stars like Megan Thee Stallion, who performed the “Butter” remix on stage with the group, “Boy With Luv” collaborator Halsey, and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who joined the group for a performance of “My Universe.”
At the end of the December 2 concert, Big Hit Music announced that BTS was planning to hold a concert in Seoul in March 2022, sharing the message “See you in Seoul, March 2022” on Twitter with the hashtag “Permission to Dance On Stage Seoul.”

ep1er is an upcoming nine-member project girl group under WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment. Formed through Mnet’s reality survival show Girls Planet 999, they will debut on January 3, 2022 with their first mini album, First Impact.
They will be active for roughly two and a half years on a special contract before their contract ends sometime in 2024.

Their name combines ‘Kep’, which means catching dreams,
and the number 1, which means the nine girls coming together as one to be the best. It is also a reference to the planet ‘Kepler’ and also inspired by German astronomer Johannes Kepler.

Brave Girls’ Sudden Surge in Popularity ten years after debut
Brave Girls is a South Korean girl group formed by producer Brave Brothers in 2011 and managed by Brave Entertainment. After making their debut with the single album The Difference on April 7, 2011, the group has since released five mini-albums, including Back to da Future (2011),
Re-Issue (2012), High Heels (2016), Rollin’ (2017), and Summer Queen (2021). Initially a five-member group, Brave Girls has undergone multiple lineup changes and currently consists of Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna, with no original members remaining.
In February 2021, a compilation video of Brave Girls performing “Rollin’” became viral on YouTube. As a result, the song gained a surge in popularity and rose to the top of real-time music charts. In response, the group resumed promotional activities for the song. Member Yujeong revealed that prior to the song becoming viral, the group was near disbandment as she and fellow member Yuna had already moved out of their dorm. On March 12, “Rollin’” achieved its first perfect all-kill (PAK) after topping both the daily and real-time components of the South Korean music ranking aggregator iChart. On March 14, Brave Girls received their first music show win on Inkigayo with “Rollin’” after 1,854 days since the group’s debut date, the longest time period between debuting and receiving the first win for any girl group. “Rollin” went on to achieve 262 PAKs in total, the highest number of PAKs for any song by a girl group.

Squid Game’s International Acclaim The series became the first Korean drama to top Netflix’s top ten weekly most-watched TV show charts globally. It reached number one in 94 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom. Netflix estimated that Squid Game had drawn over 111 million member households worldwide after 17 days of availability, and over 142 million member households after 28 days becoming the service’s most-watched series at its launch.

BTS has become the first Asian act in history to win Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards, and this also marks BTS’s third consecutive year winning Favorite Pop Duo or Group.

Set in the 18th century, “Red Sleeve” depicts a love story between King Jeongjo and royal concubine Uibin Sung. Sung Deok-Im is a court lady. She gets involved with Crown Prince Yi San and he falls in love with her. The crown prince eventually becomes King Jeongjo. He now desires Sung Deok-Im to become his concubine, but she refuses. Sung Deok-Im wants to live her life freely, something that will not be possible as a concubine. She also knows that life of a royal concubine does not generally bring about happiness. Yet, Sung DeokIm becomes the concubine of King Jeongjo.
