Donna M. Alvarado is the Founder and President of Aguila International, a business consulting firm. Her experience in corporate governance includes the manufacturing, banking, transportation, and services industries. She currently serves as a director of Corrections Corporation of America, CSX Corporation, and Park National Bank.

Victor Arias is a Senior Client Partner in the Dallas office of Korn/ Ferry International and was recently named Global Leader of Diversity and Inclusion for the firm. His practice specialties include Boards, Real Estate, and Higher Education.

Previously, Ms. Alvarado served as President and CEO of Quest International, a global educational publishing company. Early in her career, following other executive and legislative staff appointments at the U.S. Department of Defense and in the U.S. Congress, Ms. Alvarado was appointed by President Ronald Reagan as CEO of the federal agency ACTION (Corporation for National and Community Service). Ms. Alvarado also serves on the boards of the Lindorf Foundation and the Columbus Council on World Affairs. During the past five years, she has served as Chairwoman of the Ohio Board of Regents and has led state and national workforce policy boards.

Mr. Arias boasts more than 15 years of executive recruitment experience gained through working at several of the world’s most preeminent search firms. His clients, who range from medium-sized to major global firms, benefit greatly from his deep knowledge of Latin America and expertise in diversity. Prior to his executive search career, Mr. Arias spent 15 years in the corporate and commercial real estate business, working as a Vice President at LaSalle Partners (now Jones Lang LaSalle) in Chicago and later as Executive Vice President of marketing for the Las Colinas development in Dallas.

Roel Campos’ practice consists of advising and defending corporate management teams and boards of directors with respect to SEC enforcement, FCPA and internal investigations, criminal prosecutions, securities and international regulation, and corporate governance.

Dr. Richard Carmona has been Vice Chairman of Canyon Ranch since 2006. He serves as CEO of the Health division and President of the nonprofit Canyon Ranch Institute. He is the first Distinguished Professor at the Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona.

Prior to joining Locke Lord, Mr. Campos was appointed twice by the President and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as a Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and served from 2002 until 2007. Mr. Campos served for five years as the Commission’s liaison to the international regulatory community and became well known among international regulators. Mr. Campos also facilitated the development of international auditing and accounting standards through his work as Chair of the Monitoring Group and Vice Chair of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

Prior to joining Canyon Ranch, Dr. Carmona served as the 17th Surgeon General of the U.S. (2002-2006), achieving the rank of Vice Admiral. Previously, he was Chairman of the State of Arizona Southern Regional Emergency Medical System; a Professor of Surgery, Public Health, and Family and Community Medicine at the University of Arizona; and Surgeon and Deputy Sheriff of the Pima County, Arizona, Sheriff’s Department. Dr. Carmona served in the U.S. Army and the Army’s Special Forces. Dr. Carmona is a Director of the Clorox Company, Herbalife Ltd., TASER International, and serves on the board of Healthline Networks.

Gilbert Casellas is Chairman of OMNITRU, a Washington, D.C.based consulting and investment firm focusing on defense, intelligence, and homeland security technologies. Before OMNITRU, he led Dell’s global corporate responsibility function. During the Clinton Administration, he was Chairman of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, General Counsel of the Air Force, and Co-Chairman of the Census Monitoring Board. He has practiced with major law firms in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. and for two years was President of an asset management firm.

Kimberly Casiano was the first Hispanic woman to serve on one of the top five Fortune 100 corporate boards and is a member of the board of directors of Ford Motor Company, Mead Johnson Nutrition Company, Mutual of America, and Scotiabank of Puerto Rico. She is President of Kimberly Casiano & Associates, an advisor to companies targeting the Hispanic market.

He has been a member of the board of Prudential Financial, Inc. since 1998 and a Trustee of the University of Pennsylvania since 1996 and also serves on the Advisory Board of Toyota North America, on the board of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, and chairs the National Hispanic Advisory Council of Comcast Corporation. He received his B.A. from Yale and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Casiano serves on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the leading national organization awarding college scholarships to Hispanic youth. She is also Co-Founder of Nuestra Casa de los Niños, a Puerto Rico-based organization that provides private-school education for economically disadvantaged children. She also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, is a member of the HACR Corporate Directors Summit™, and is the former Chapter Summit Chair of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Puerto Rico. Ms. Casiano obtained her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Lu Córdova is CEO of Corlund Industries, LLC, an investment holding company specializing in operations management, strategic planning, and capital finance. Corlund also manages the Almacen Storage Group, which provides self-storage and warehousing in Mexico.

Mr. Castro serves on the board of Time Warner Cable, a Fortune 125 company. He is a member of the audit and nominations and governance committees. He also serves on the boards of Teach For America in New York; the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.; IESE, the Barcelona, Spain-based business school; the Surdna Foundation in New York; Media Matters for America in Washington, D.C.; the Latino Donor Collaborative of Phoenix; and the Environmental Defense Fund in New York. He was educated at Harvard College; the University of Madrid in Spain; CIDOC in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and Loyola Jesuit High School in Los Angeles.

Ms. Córdova has dual citizenship with the U.S. and Mexico and currently serves on two public boards: Euronet Worldwide (EEFT), an international payments company and the Kansas City Southern Railroad (KCS), which owns the Kansas City Southern de Mexico and the Panama Canal Railroad. She is a five-time CEO and also served in senior management at McGraw-Hill, Standard & Poor’s, and @Home Network. She has been a judge for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year ®, for the Boulder County Business Report’s IQ Awards, and for the Colorado Software and Internet Association’s Apex Awards. She has received numerous awards herself for Entrepreneurship and a Telly Award for Marketing. She holds a Ph.D. A.B.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Judge Nelson A. Diaz is a partner at Dilworth Paxson LLP, a Philadelphia-based regional law firm. He is active in Philadelphia government and community affairs and neighborhood development. As a Director of Exelon, he has made contributions to the company’s outreach to diverse groups within Philadelphia and neighboring communities. He currently serves as a Director of PECO and formerly served on Legg Mason Funds and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Paradigm Multi Strategy Fund I, LLC. Judge Diaz is also a Trustee of Temple University. In addition, he serves on the boards of the National Association for Hispanic Elderly and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. Judge Diaz is also a member of the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships and a member of the Board of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Housing Authority.

Patricia Diaz Dennis was Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at AT&T until she retired in November 2008. Ms. Diaz Dennis serves on the Boards of Directors of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and NPR. She is also an NHP Foundation trustee and sits on the LBJ Family Wealth Advisors Advisory Board. In June 2012, the Women and the Law Section of the Texas State Bar selected Ms. Diaz Dennis to receive the Sarah T. Hughes Women Lawyers of Achievement award. In November 2009, the National Hispana Leadership Institute presented her its national Mujer award. In April 2008, Texas Diversity magazine named her one of eight “Most Powerful and Influential Women in Texas” and gave her a Glass Ceiling Award; in February 2008, Hispanic magazine named her one of the top 25 best Latinos in business and she received the 2007 Association of Fundraising Professionals Award for her ongoing commitment to volunteerism and philanthropy. She holds a law degree from Loyola University of Los Angeles and an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Cari Dominguez is a Corporate Director for ManpowerGroup, Inc. and the former Chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). As Chair of the EEOC, she served as the CEO of the Commission, leading and directing all policy matters and operational aspects of the nation’s lead agency pertaining to federal equal employment opportunity laws.

Juan R. Figuereo is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NII Holdings, Inc. Mr. Figuereo is responsible for leading the overall financial management of the company, including financial planning, financial reporting, capital structure, taxation, investor relations, internal audit, and corporate development. In this role he is focused on solidifying NII’s strategic planning operations, strengthening relationships with the investor community, and partnering with the CEO to help drive the company’s growth agenda.

She worked with the U.S. Department of Labor in various capacities and during her tenure launched and led the Labor Department’s Glass Ceiling Initiative, a program designed to remove invisible barriers from the workplace. Previously she held senior human resources positions at Bank of America and was a partner and director at two globally recognized executive search firms.

Mr. Figuereo also served in leadership roles at Wal-Mart International, where he helped the company become the top foreign retailer in China and also helped the retailer enter five new countries in Central America. He also served in a number of key international positions at PepsiCo. He holds a bachelor’s of Business Administration from Florida International University, completed the Executive Program in Marketing at Columbia University, and attended the Economics and Finance Program at London University.

Charles García is CEO of García Trujillo, which helps Fortune 500 companies significantly grow their Hispanic market share. The firm also serves as a merchant bank and private equity firm for global Hispanic companies. Mr. García also chairs the South Florida chapter of TIGER 21, the premier peer-to-peer group for ultrahigh-net-worth individuals, which was founded in New York in 1999 and is now in 17 cities in the U.S. and Canada. Mr. García is Chairman of the board of directors of Empire Avenue Inc., a privately held Canadian social media company that is in more than 200 countries and one of the top 1,000 most trafficked websites in the U.S.

Linda Griego’s career spans private enterprise, public service, and philanthropy. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of CBS Corporation, American Funds, and AECOM Technology Corporation. In 1986, she founded Griego Enterprises, Inc., a business development and restaurant management company. Her most recent entrepreneurial venture includes the opening of Etchea Café & Bakery in two downtown Los Angeles locations.

He served five years as Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served for six years on the Board of Directors of Winn-Dixie Stores, a Fortune 500 supermarket in the southeast until it’s sale in May 2012. Mr. García is also a best-selling author of two leadership books.

She has served as Deputy Mayor of the City of Los Angeles, CEO of Rebuild LA, CEO of the Los Angeles Community Development Bank, and as Presidential Appointee to the Community Adjustment and Investment Advisory Committee. Currently, she Chairs the board of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Health Foundation, and serves as a Trustee of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation. Ms. Griego has maintained strong ties with UCLA since her graduation in 1975 and was a former Senior Fellow of the School of Public Policy.

Enrique Hernandez, Jr. is the President & CEO of Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc., headquartered in Pasadena, CA. In 2002, he was appointed by President Bush to the National Infrastructure Assurance Committee and served this organization until 2006. He also formerly served as President of the Los Angeles Police Commission, appointed by Mayor Richard Riordan. Mr. Hernandez also served on the Board of Children’s Hospital Los Angles, Los Angeles Philharmonic, California Healthcare Foundation, Angeles County Museum of Art, and Chairman of the Board of Regents of Loyola High School. A recognized corporate leader serving on the Boards of McDonald’s Corporation, Chevron Corporation, and Wells Fargo & Company, Mr. Hernandez has served as Chairman of the Board of Nordstrom, Inc., since 2006. In addition, he is a member of the Boards of Trustees of the University of Notre Dame, The John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of City of Hope Hospital. Mr. Hernandez is an honors graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.

GRACE LIEBLEIN HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL, INC.

Effective December 2012, Grace Lieblein was named GM Vice President, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. Ms. Lieblein is responsible for GM’s purchasing activities and supply chain and logistics operations worldwide. She sits on the Board of Directors for Honeywell International, Inc. and the Advisory Board of Focus: HOPE. She’s on the Supervisory Board of Adam Opel AG (Germany), the Board of Advisors for US-MEX Forum for Cooperation, Understanding and Solidarity, and the Board of Directors for the GM Foundation. Previously, Ms.Lieblein was President and Managing Director of GM Brazil. Before Brazil, she was President and Managing Director of GM Mexico, and the first woman to serve in this role. While in Mexico, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of the American Chamber Mexico, and was later named Vice President of the Board. Grace received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) in 1983 and a master’s degree in management - materials/logistics from Michigan State University in 1987. She also holds a certificate from Thunderbird’s Global Leadership program from 1998.

Monica Lozano is CEO and Chair of the Board of ImpreMedia, a leading media company serving Hispanic communities in the U.S. Ms. Lozano was named CEO in 2010 and prior to that she was Senior Vice President for Publications overseeing the newspaper and magazine division of ImpreMedia. Ms. Lozano is leading the transformation of ImpreMedia to a fully integrated multimedia Hispanic content company leveraging the distinct brands, audience engagement, and influence of their products across print, digital, mobile, social, and local platforms.

The Honorable Michael Montelongo is SVP, Public Policy and Corporate Affairs for Sodexo, Inc. A former soldier, educator, and congressional aide, Mr. Montelongo was a Bush White House appointee serving as the 18th Assistant Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Air Force. The first Hispanic American appointed to that position, he served as the most senior Hispanic American in the Air Force during his tenure.

She has contributed significantly to nonprofit organizations, such as the National Council of La Raza and the University of California. She recently served as a member of President Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness and the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Today, she is widely regarded as one of the most influential Latinas in the country and is a member of the board of directors for Bank of America, The Walt Disney Company, the University of Southern California, the Weingart Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation.

Mr. Montelongo is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He serves as Chair of the Audit Committee on the Board of Directors for UniTek Global Services, Inc., the Board of Trustees for Aerospace Corporation, and as Vice Chair on the Audit, Finance, and Analysis Committee of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Advisory Council. The first in his extended family to attend college, Mr. Montelongo earned his bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Military Academy and a master’s degree from Harvard Business School.

A graduate of Florida International University and Virginia Tech, Dr. Murano began her career as an Assistant Professor in food microbiology at Iowa State University in 1990.

Jose Luis Prado is President of Quaker Foods North America, a division of PepsiCo. Mr. Prado assumed this role in 2011 and is responsible for the continued growth of Quaker-branded products globally. He also leads PepsiCo’s global Baking Center of Excellence, which develops and supports baked projects companywide.

In 1995, she joined the faculty at Texas A&M University as Associate Professor, leading the university’s Center for Food Safety as Director. In 2001, Professor Murano was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as Undersecretary for Food Safety at the Department of Agriculture, the highest-ranking food safety official in the U.S. government. In 2005, Dr. Murano returned to Texas A&M, where she was appointed Dean and Vice Chancellor of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the largest such program in the nation. In 2008, Dr. Murano became the first woman and first Hispanic president of Texas A&M University. Since June 2012, Dr. Murano has served as Interim Director of the Norman E. Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture.

As a 28-year veteran of PepsiCo, Mr. Prado began his career at Sabritas and has served in a variety of positions, including President, Frito-Lay Snacks Caribbean; President, PepsiCo Snacks Argentina/Uruguay; Area Vice President, Frito-Lay International; and most recently as President, Gamesa-Quaker Mexico. Mr. Prado also serves on the boards of Northern Trust, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, GENYO Uth (a national nonprofit organization), and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He is also a member of the Executive Club of Chicago.

He is licensed in Texas, New Mexico, and the U.S. Courts for the Western District of Texas.

Patricia Salas Pineda is Group Vice President at Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMA) with primary responsibility for national philanthropy and the Toyota USA Foundation. Ms. Salas Pineda joined TMA in September 2004 as Group Vice President of Corporate Communications and General Counsel.

Mr. Rodriguez serves on the Board of Directors of ONEOK, Inc., a diversified natural gas/natural gas liquids energy company located in Tulsa, OK. Mr. Rodriguez has served as Chair of the Audit Committee and presently serves on the Executive Compensation and Corporate Governance Committees. Mr. Rodriguez was recently appointed to serve as a member of ONE Gas, Inc., a spin off of the natural gas distribution assets of ONEOK, Inc. He received his B.A. from Texas Tech University and J.D., St. Mary’s University, School of Law.

Prior to joining TMA, Ms. Salas Pineda spent 20 years at New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc., the corporate joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation and General Motors Corporation where she served as Vice President, Human Resources, Government and Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary. Her many affiliations include: Director, Levi Strauss & Co., Inc.; Advisory Trustee, The Rand Corporation; Corporate Advisory Board Member, National Council De La Raza; Corporate Advisory Board Member, Catalyst; Member, The Conference Board’s Contributions Council and Executive Committee; and Member, Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship’s Executive Forum. Ms. Salas Pineda received a B.A. from Mills College and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.

The Honorable Ken Salazar is a Partner at the global law firm of WilmerHale and is the former Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior. Appointed by President Obama in January 2009, Mr. Salazar served more than four years as the 50th Secretary of the Interior, directing a vast agency responsible for managing the nation’s resources, including water, fish, wildlife, mining, public lands and national parks, onshore, and offshore energy development on public lands and primary responsibility for the federal relationship with American Indians. During his time as Secretary he successfully developed and implemented numerous oil and gas and renewable energy initiatives on public lands and helped lead the Administration’s “all of the above” energy strategy. Well-known in Colorado as a lawyer, businessman, farmer, and rancher, he was elected to the U.S. Senate from Colorado in 2004. Prior to becoming U.S. Senator, Mr. Salazar was twice-elected Colorado’s Attorney General and also served as the state’s natural resources director and legal counsel to Governor Roy Romer.

Alejandro Silva is the Chairman of Evans Food Group, Ltd., a Chicago company founded in 1947. Under Mr. Silva’s leadership, Evans Food Group has become the largest private label pork rind manufacturer in the world with plants in Ohio, California, Texas, and Mexico. Mr. Silva serves on the Board of Directors of Chicago’s PrivateBancorp, Inc. and Walgreen. He is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations. He is Chairman of the Finance, Audit, and Budgeting Committee for the Chicago Transit Authority; and is on the Board of the Museum of Science Industry in Chicago, The Field Museum, Chicago Symphony, and the Commercial Club of Chicago. Mr. Silva earned a B.S. in Biochemical Engineering from the Technology Institute and Superior Studies of Monterrey in Mexico and an M.S. in Food Technology from the National College of Food Technology in England. He attended the Harvard Business School, Owner/ President Management Course.

Albert Zapanta is the President and CEO of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce. Prior to his current position, Mr. Zapanta worked as an industrial engineer for Bethlehem Steel and as Director of Governmental Affairs for ARCO. He has held numerous Presidential appointments, including White House fellow; Senate-confirmed Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Management and Administration; appointed to the U.S. State Department Advisory Committee on International Trade Technology and Development; served as a private sector delegate to the U.S. Mexico Partnership for Prosperity; and served as Chairman of the Reserve Forces Policy Board. Mr. Zapanta received an A.A. from East Los Angeles College, a B.A. in Industrial Psychology, an M.A. in Public Administration, and completed course work for his Ph.D. in International Political Economics from the University of Southern California. He graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and the Inter-American Defense College and the National War College in Washington, D.C.
