Our address:
Haberdashers' Boys' School, Butterfly Lane, Elstree, Herts WD6 3AF officeboys@habselstree.org.uk. 020 8266 1700
Our campus is easy to access from nearby junctions on the M1, M25 and A1.
If coming by rail, you can get a train from St Pancras in London to either Elstree and Borehamwood Station or Radlett Station, then take a taxi from there. Respectively, we are just an eight to ten minute taxi ride from these stations.
If coming by London Underground, you can take either the Northern Line to Edgware Station or Jubilee Line to Stanmore Station, then take a taxi from there.
Car Parking Access
Weekend matches parents and coaches must park in the coach park. For weekday matches parents may park/drop-off students in the temporary car park or the North Drive car park. There is access via Aldenham Road to the car park.
Parents: Please park in the North Drive car park only. Enter the school via the entrance on Butterfly Lane, once through the security barrier, the North Drive car park is directly on your right.
Teams: Please park in the coach park. Enter via the entrance on Aldenham Road and opposite Dagger Lane.
See the map for further information.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome all players, staff and supporters to Haberdashers` for another week of exciting rugby 7`s. The festival has grown from humble origins to become an integral part of our sporting calendar and I would like to thank all of the participating schools for their continued support of the event.
Our intention over the week is to provide plenty of opportunity for teams to hone their craft in preparation for the major 7s tournaments in March. Whilst every team will come here wanting to win, emphasis is placed upon developing team cohesion within an informal and relaxed setting. It is also an opportunity for players and coaches to try new things in a low stakes environment.
The format and timings of each tournament may vary so please read the programme carefully.
Squad sizes are unlimited but please be aware that only 12 players may participate in any one match. Roll on/ Roll off subs are permitted throughout.
Best wishes
Mr Al Metcalfe Head of Rugby and selector of 1980`s rock anthems on the PA system
