Founded in 2008 and affiliated with Badminton England, Abbey is a friendly, communityrun club dedicated to making badminton affordable, accessible, and enjoyable for all. Whether you’re a junior just starting out or an adult looking to sharpen your game, their sessions cater to all ages and skill levels.
Known for their high-quality coaching and supportive atmosphere, Abbey runs successful programmes across St Albans, Watford, Bushey, Hemel, and now Elstree. Juniors benefit from structured, fun sessions focused on building confidence and technique, while adult sessions offer plenty of game play with expert guidance available.
All sessions are run on a not-for-profit basis, with every penny reinvested into improving the experience for players.

We’re excited to welcome ArtShed to our Prep School Hall this October Half Term! Already a much-loved creative staple in St Albans and Harpenden, ArtShed brings their fun, vibrant art camps to Elstree for the very first time.
Designed for primary-aged children (up to age 12), each day features a guided art project — from colourful canvas paintings to bold watercolours — helping young artists build skills, confidence and creativity in a relaxed and friendly environment. Camps run from 9.30am to 3.30pm, with wraparound care available from 8.30am to 4.30pm, and spaces always fill quickly — so early booking is advised.
ArtShed camps are £45 per day but book by 5 October for an introductory price of £40 per day. Camps are bookable as ‘Two Day Camps’ - acrylic paintings completed on day one are finished on day two along with a large watercolour. London Pulse Hubs are designed to give young netballers access to a highperformance environment from the very beginning of their development. These Hubs provide athletes with structured coaching, competitive opportunities, and a clear pathway toward selection for the prestigious Netball Performance League (NPL) squads.
As a proud partner school, Haberdashers’ Elstree Schools is now a key training base in London Pulse’s distributed network of Hubs. While not the sole location for London Pulse activity, Habs is one of several carefully chosen venues supporting this elite development pathway — and we’re delighted to play our part in nurturing the next generation of netball stars.
Led by experienced and qualified Pulse coaches, the Under-13s programme at Habs is a stepping stone for young players looking to push their skills to the next level, experience professional-level coaching, and become part of an inspiring netball community.

Run by our in-house Habs lunchtime and after-school table tennis coaches, who train nationally ranked players, the camp provides personalised guidance on key table tennis skills including footwork, serving techniques, spin mastery, rallying, and returning serve. Players will also develop match strategy and tactics through focused drills, match play, and fun challenges.
Each day will be carefully structured to keep players engaged and improving, with a balanced mix of table tennis training, skill drills, and essential breaks to recharge. Afternoon sessions will include games and fun challenges to put skills into practice in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
