This year, we built our 600th decent, affordable home in the same SE Canton neighborhood where we built our very first home.

At Habitat, every hand makes a difference. Each year, we mobilize more than 6,000 local volunteers. That's 35,600+ hours invested to help make sure each home is affordable. You can help at habitateco.org/volunteer

Christmas
The Christmas season allows us to rest in hope, to find peace in knowing that God gave us a gift in the form of a child. In this gift, we can discover peace as we look toward eternity, and we can discover peace living here on earth as well. At Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio, we help families embrace the power of a good home, and we believe we do more than build houses. We are also builders of hope and builders of peace.
With your support, we marked an unbelievable milestone this year as we built our 600th house since 1988. In all those homes over all those years, we've partnered with thousands of individuals, parents, and children to help them build and purchase their own safe, affordable homes. The work of eliminating poverty housing is challenging, but we are full of hope. As we look toward 2023, our 35th anniversary year, we are determined to build more than ever. We're thankful for you, and we pray you will continue to build with us in the year ahead so we can help more families live in hope and in peace—on Christmas Day and every day.
Celebrating a legacy. In 2023, we'll mark 35 years of building homes, communities, and hope. Stay tuned to learn all the ways you can be a part of the celebration. Connect with us at habitateco.org
