As the tot threw the flag to the ground, his mother, Morgan King, bent over to pick it up, laughing. “He loves his daddy,” King said, securing the patch back on her husband’s shoulder.

We know sometimes that (deployment) can be hard and we know sometimes that it can be long. But please know that all of us in the city of Lawrenceville and (beyond) will lift the Alpha Company up in prayer every day, and today we send you off with our prayers and best wishes.” — Lawrenceville Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson

Jerome Daniel Colvin, 34, of Auburn, is charged with felony murder, malice murder and aggravated assault in the shooting death of 25-year-old Allen Craig Willard, which occurred outside Ricos Jerome Daniel Colvin World Kitchen in downtown Buford.
