Renewal applications for New Life Academy of Excellence and North Metro Academy of Performing Arts were approved by the Gwinnett County Public Schools Board of Education during its monthly meeting Thursday. Board members approved New Life Academy of Excellence for a five-year renewal, the maximum limit that is allowed by state law, while approving North Metro Academy of Performing arts for an additional year.
