Two months ago, the name Tafahree Maynard meant little to the Gwinnett community; aside from friends, family and those who crossed paths with the 18-year-old, few would have given his mention a second thought. To Gwinnett County District
Attorney Danny Porter, however, the name, which many now recognize as that of the teen accused of gunning down Gwinnett County Police Department Officer Antwan Toney on Oct. 20, indicated a threat to society, something the DA’s office tried to impress upon the Gwinnett County Juvenile Court. 1 dead in Lilburn fire Man saves parents but dies in attempt
