Kenneth “Peanut” Dalton was, at his core, a people person. If someone told him about something going on in their life, or in the life of a family member, he would remember it and ask how that situation was going the next time he saw that person. He’d always inquire how family members were doing too. any students who pay a visit to the Georgia Aquarium in downtown Atlanta go to the see the sharks, penguins and various underwater creatures. However, for a group of 12 girls from Sweetwater Middle School, the purpose of visiting the aquarium was to learn more about STEAM: science, technology,

engineering, arts and mathematics. Heidi Turcotte, manager of teaching and learning at the Georgia Aquarium, said the aquarium received a grant from the Motorola Solutions Foundation in 2017 with the goal of providing a community program that would educate students. The grant, worth more than $14,000, supported a
