FULL LOADS DIRECTLY TO THE DESTINATION Distributing bulky goods across country borders is a complex logistical undertaking. So it is good that Gebrßder Weiss (GW) was able to offer its customer Henkel a simple solution here: numerous direct transports to four European countries from a central distribution center. Henkel’s business workflows have since been much more simplified and standardized.

THE CHALLENGE Henkel needed a transport and logistics provider for all regular services to Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Croatia. The challenge: ● Quickly available, punctual transports despite fluctuating demand and short lead times. ● Safe transports for temperature-sensitive goods and hazardous goods ● Reliable handling of bulky, heavy goods ● Coordination via central contact partner handling several services

THE SOLUTION GW set up a single point of contact for Henkel at its location in Serbia. Goods are distributed to four countries from here. The services at a glance: ● Direct transportation of goods with GW direct.line to customers in Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia. ● Around 2,500 full loads every year with an average weight of 20 tons per vehicle. ● A single point of contact for all operating and administrative matters. ● Thermal transports for temperature-sensitive goods (industrial adhesives) ● Hazardous goods transports for ADR class goods
