SENIOR DAY

Today we recognize the six senior student-athletes who are graduating following this semester.

Anthony Belardinelli is a two-year member of the Bonnies men’s basketball program, joining the team as a walk-on prior to the 2022-23 season. A second-generation Bonnie who followed in the footsteps of his parents who are both St. Bonaventure alumni, Anthony played in five games this season and scored his first career points in a win at Niagara. He is a business management major.

Mika Adams-Woods joined the Bonnies as a graduate transfer following four standout seasons at Cincinnati. He immediately made an impact with the Bonnies, earning Atlantic 10 and USBWA National

Player of the Week honors in December. A 1,000-point scorer for his career, he has averaged nearly 13 points and four assists this year while ranking second in the Atlantic 10 in three-point percentage. During the year he logged new career highs with 25 points in a win at Niagara and 10 assists in a victory at Fordham.

Charles Pride came to St. Bonaventure as a graduate transfer after four stellar seasons at Bryant. He has started all 27 games played this season while posting over 11 points and nearly 6 rebounds per contest. He has ranked among the nation’s best in lowest turnover rate throughout the year, committing only 17 in nearly 800 minutes of game action. One of only three active guards in Division I to haul in over 900 career rebounds, he has more than 1,800 points in his collegiate career.

SENIOR DAY

Moses Flowers has played in 60 games with the Bonnies over the past two seasons, averaging nearly 10 points per contest. The Massachusetts native has been both a starter and the team’s sixth-man the past two years, adding a valuable offensive punch including a careerbest shooting percentage of better than 39 percent beyond the arc this year. He tallied two 20-point games this year and has delivered 14 doublefigure scoring efforts in his fifth year including a do-it-all performance of 12 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists in a win over Loyola Chicago and will finish his career with over 1,400 points.

Daryl Banks III has played in 62 games over the last two seasons with the Bonnies, averaging over 12 points per game. He

arrived at St. Bonaventure after gaining national notoriety in the NCAA Tournament with Saint Peter’s, then became an Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection in his first year with the Bonnies as he scored over 15 points per game with three 30-point outbursts while leading the nation in minutes last season. The owner of nearly 1,700 career points, Banks has three 20-point games this year including a season-best 29 in a win over Saint Joseph’s. His 130 3-pointers in just two seasons rank 14th all-time in Bona’s history.

Chad Venning has been a success story since joining the Bonnies program. He earned a starting job early into last season and has become an All-Conference caliber player as a senior, scoring in double figures in all but two A-10 games this year. During conference games, he ranks top-10 among all A-10 players in scoring, field goal percentage and blocks. Last year, he was named the Gotham Classic MVP capped off by a doubledouble in a win over Notre Dame. He recently surpassed 1,000 career points with over 800 of those points scored in a Bonaventure uniform. His 97 blocks also rank seventh all-time in program history.

ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

This

Salina's complete game gem highlighted the game 1 victory for Bona Baseball at Presbyterian Feb. 29. The right-handed sophomore was nearly untouchable, allowing just two hits while walking three and striking out seven in a 2-0 shutout as the Bonnies took the opener.

The Blue Hose entered the day hitting .308 as a team and scoring nearly nine runs per game in their first eight contests, but Salina surrendered only a first inning single up the middle and a sixth inning poke through the right side. Presbyterian never sent a runner past first base.

Fittingly, Salina struck out his seventh batter of the day for the final out to put the exclamation mark on the win. He needed 87 pitches, throwing 57 for strikes, and became the first Bonnies pitcher to toss a complete game shutout since Donovan Moffat also did so in the second game of a doubleheader at La Salle in a 2-0 win on April 24, 2021 (7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K).

McGovern had an outstanding week for the Bonnies, tallying 11 points over three games.

At UC Davis, the Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. native scored five goals and added an assist. Her back-to-back goals in the late minutes of the fourth quarter gave her 100 career points in 35 games played. She is the 17th Bonnie to record 100 or more points in their career.

She continued her success with an assist in Bona's first-ever Power-5 win over California and followed that up with a five-point performance against Saint Francis this Tuesday.

Her free position goal with 6:54 to go allowed the Bonnies to break a 9-9 deadlock and cruise to the home-field victory.

McGovern and the Bonnies begin Atlantic 10 play this Friday as they welcome George Washington to the Marra Athletics Complex.
