Men’s squads confirmed for ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh 2014
… West Indies retain 12 players from the side that won the title in 2012; Bangladesh name six players who will feature in their fifth successive ICC World Twenty20 tournament THE International Cricket Council (ICC) yesterday announced that 15 of the 16 men’s squads for next month’s ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh 2014 have been confirmed. Bangladesh will square off against Afghanistan in the tournament opener in Mirpur on February 16, while former champions India and Pakistan will go head-to-head in the first match of the Super 10 stage at the same venue on March 21. Holders Bayern defeated Arsenal 2-0 at The Emirates while Atletico scraped past AC Milan 1-0 at the San Siro. Toni Kroos opened the scoring in London for Pep Guardiola’s side when he curled a stunning right-foot shot into the top corner in the 54th minute.
