Acting is not about being someone different. It's finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding myself in there. - Meryl Streep

EDITORIAL WELCOME to the new year, a new editor, and the slightly re-vamped New Garrick Gazette. The main change is that we are hoping to spread the newsletter to a wider audience. Traditionally it has gone only to members of the Club, but as it contains a good deal of information about our plays, the doings of the Club and general interest, we are sending it via both email and snail mail to anyone who has shown interest in the Club via membership, being in the audience of any of our plays, actors, directors and backstage or in a technical role. We welcome suggestions to improve the Gazette, and will happily accept submissions of all kinds. We will also be publishing the Gazette monthly at the beginning of each month.
