An oil painting by Alibaba founder and president Jack Ma and artist Zeng Fanzhi, called "Paradise," sold for 42.2 million Hong Kong dollars, or about $5.4 million, on Oct. 4, 2015 at a Sotheby's auction. Sotheby's estimated that it would sell for significantly less at 1.5 to 2.5 million Hong Kong dollars. The sale's proceeds benefit the Paradise International Foundation, an environmental group established by Ma and Fanzhi. The buyer was fellow Chinese billionaire Qian Fenglei. Sotheby's Ted Williams' All-Star Bat Hits Auction Block Ted Williams' 1960 All-Star Game autographed bat he used for his final All-Star game appearance and base hit will be auctioned July 14, 2015 at the MLB's All-Star FanFest in Cincinnati. With an approximate value of $150,000, the bat was recently discovered within his former personal residence in Florida along with a handwritten note by him. The note states, "1960 Last Bat used single NY Kansas City." Hunt Auctions Queen Victoria's Undergarments For Sale Undergarments that formerly belonged to Queen Victoria were sold at auction at Chippenham Auctions Rooms on July 11, 2015 for ÂŁ12,390, or approximately $19,194.59. An auctioneer was able to date the intimate apparel by measuring the waistband and calculating Queen Victoria's waist measurement through photos of her.
