rest in peace
The struggle of dealing with emotions

This book is comprised of excerpts from the lyrics of a handful of artists who are using their music to express their emotions. The lyrics collected express a range of emotions, from the feeling of loneliness and complete emptiness to lyrics with more encouraging messages. Those struggling with mental illness at times may struggle to feel understood or seen, these relatable lyrics that have been selected, allow for the reader to see that they are not alone, and it is possible to get through whatever it is that they are struggling with. This book illustrates a story the way that it is laid out, using the emotions of the lyrics to show the transition from a negative mindset to a positive mindset.
