New chief for country food trust

The Country Food Trust, the charity which provides meals to people in poverty and need, will be welcoming a new CEO to the table this year.

S J Hunt, the CEO and company secretary of the Parity Trust Group, a regulated mortgage lender group of companies and the only FCA regulated charity in the country, has been appointed to the key role.

SJ has had several voluntary board roles with the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership, the Partnership Foundation and the D-Day Story museum.

She is the co-founder of a confectionery SME, a Goldman Sachs 10,000 SB alumna, a 2020 inspirational Woman in Social Enterprise (WISE) recipient, and Entrepreneur in Residence at University of Portsmouth. SJ has a BSc in Government and Politics and an MSc in Medicinal Chemistry.

She is also a qualified chef, sommelier, sports nutritionist and keen rifle shot.
