Alan Pain announces New Range
With a raft of new products and tweeds, Alan Paine’s country wear collection is greatly expanded for Autumn/Winter 2022. Highlights include new colourways and styles, new storm-ready performance wear, ultra-lightweight insulating recycled polyester quilted jackets and gilets, a must-have base layer range, plus new accessories from ties to ladies’ silk scarves.
The expansion of the brand’s next generation performance outerwear sees the addition of a men’s coat plus a versatile new season colour hopsack, which is also carried through to the ladies Fernley range. Hot on the heels of their best-selling Dunswell waterproof range comes the Milwood collection of robust
all-weather protection staples designed to provide the wearer with enduring comfort while they are enjoying all manner of outdoor pursuits.
Using their many years of experience creating luxury knitwear, Alan Paine launches a collection of essential base layers crafted in Merino wool. Nature’s wonder fibre helps regulate body temperatures and wicks moisture away from the skin. The warming range includes long and short sleeve crew necks, long pants, hat and snood.
Ultra-lightweight insulation is provided by the new recycled polyester men’s and ladies Calsall quilted jacket and gilet containing renewably sourced Du-
Pont Sorona thermal filling. With a water repellent outer, and offered in classic navy, olive and dark brown, the ladies’ versions feature a detachable faux fur trimmed hood.
In tweed there’s new colourways hawthorn and heath in the men’s and ladies perennially popular Combrook range and vibrant, contemporary colourways, plus new tailored styles introduced in the Surrey tweed offering. There’s a new, fully functional Combrook waterproof coat for men and mid-length coat for ladies. New colourways seaweed and pine are offered in Alan Paine’s men’s and ladies Rutland tweed, a carefully crafted wool blend for extra durability
which doesn’t compromise at all on the softness of handle.
A warming boiled wool jacket and waistcoat are added to the brand’s versatile men’s and ladies’ midlayer ranges. These cosy layers feature a water repellent outer and can be machine washed. New colours are introduced to the Aylsham fleece ranges together with an extensive shirt offering including a new men’s flannel button down shirt and new ladies’ prints.
Last, but certainly not least, added to the wool felt fedora range is a new ladies’ hat boasting an eyecatching feather band and offered in striking shades including pink, blue and mink.
