Les Baer even guarantees 3-inch groups at 50 yards. Other names in this tier include Dan Wesson 1911s and the Vickers Master Class.

The Competition Shooter: Staccato 2011 The top level of 1911s is meant for competition. An interesting one is the Staccato 2011, with some of the models, such as XC, designed for competition shooters. The most expensive tier, these guns can be used for duty or concealed carry but excel at shooting flat for competition.
