SKILL
My long-lasting desire is to know more and explore architecture in-depth and get myself equipped with various new techniques and design ideologies into this contemporary world. I have watched and learnt and the throught process has provoked me to further discover how it is possible for architects to rise up and meet the demands of the universe that constantly develops. I also take a keen interest in brainstorming sessions to develop a design process into something which stands out.

Extension of an exisiting residential building
Status: On progress
Year of construction : 2021
The residential project is an extention to an existing projected design by Ochre Architects back in 2021. The main intent was to let the lines formulate the volume on its own, in an organic way. From lines to planes, planes to volume the residence has emerged coherently to match its past.
The extented segment consists of a new home theatre, gym, living room with a view over the landscape and a personalised Den for the client, to edit and upload his vlogs. The existing segment consists of 5 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and a common sit out with a closed courtyard.

An Art Gallery for with a proposal for an extention of heritage building
A critical issue facing decision makers and conservation professionals is accommodating change to heritage places and adding new layers to the historic urban environment in ways that recognize, interpret, and sustain their heritage values.
“The Architecture of Additions considers the ways in which old and new architecture combine and work together the central issue in the design of architectural additions.”
Architecture of appropriateness
IMMEDIATE SITE SURROUNDING
LANDUSE VEGETATION
The palace is a prisitine white double storeyed building, central structure with Corinthian column was flanked by identical wings by similar columns.
The uniqueness of this buildings lies it its design, Palladian style architecture. As it does not accomodate any indian elements, its as if the architect was drawn more to the European Classicm than adhereing to the context of the site surroundings. This building is the perfect example of symmetry, with the White lime mortar facade with the columns are equally distributed from the centre, this also goes same for the landscaping done at the entrance with fountains and creepers.
The intent is to combine the goods of Palladian styled architecture & Dravidian style architecture, as the kingdom of Travancore has a special relationships with building temples, and also have built the world’s richest temple.
The abstraction as a result produces an archway of entrances, with this the space is able to manifest the cultral and heritage significance of temple architecture of travancore kingdom into the site.
The archways are also placed in different levels of public privacy relation the site has to offer with regards to spatial organisation, thus bringing in the Dravidian style of temple architecture in the planning of te given site.
The colonades have been restablished to give a sense of symmetery to the composition. The void space between the old building and the new building have a bridge connecting, becoming a transition gallery space.
The transitional bridge becomes the embodiment where two pathways (old and new) are celebrated, which overlooks the metamorphism of cultural heritage exchange that happens in due time.

Undergraduate Urban Project
Porur was a little-known village administered as a part of the Saidapet taluk of the then Chengalpattu district in 1961. Population increase in subsequent years have resulted in increasing settlements and decreasing green spaces.
Porur is believed to have a very long history, its existence going back to Pallava times. A decisive battle is believed to have been fought here during the Pallava period and hence the name ‘Porur’ which in Tamil roughly translates as ‘Battlefield’.
Later, in 80s it was upgraded to a selection grade town panchayat starting from February 24, 1982. The population of the town at the time of the 1981 census was 8,633.
Out of the 30.9% of the population amongst the main workers, around 60%-70% of them work in IT parks situated towards Guindy and many work in Industries from Sriperumbudur. Hence there is immense traffic during peak hrs in porur junction.
