Everybody’s favourite northern comedian, Jason Manford, makes two visits to G Live this season. The shows promise to feature a wealth of comedy anecdotes, comic misunderstandings and audience banter, delivered with Jason’s likeable charm and teasingly intelligent wit.

Known for his stand up sets on Live at the Apollo (BBC One) and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), as well as his hilarious series Walk on the Wild Side (BBC One) and appearances on two series of Odd One In (ITV1), Manford is one to watch.

Learn stand-up, pick up a microphone and feel confident in front of an audience. During this fun session professional comics from Comedy Club 4 Kids will show participants how to write and perform comedy.

Learn the tricks of the magical trade from awardwinning, professional magician Max Somerset (As seen on The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, BBC One). A unique opportunity for young people to discover sleight of hand, memory and misdirection techniques, receive specialist coaching to create a short performance routine. THU 22 – SAT 24 MAY, 7.30PM FIRST THEY LIVED IT, NOW THEY’RE PERFORMING IT The play The Two Worlds of Charlie F is a deeply moving drama, which coincides with the centenary anniversary of the outbreak of World War I, performed by a combination of medically discharged military personnel and professional actors.

From the war in Afghanistan, through the dream world of morphine induced hallucinations to the physiotherapy rooms of Headley Court, the play explores the real consequences of injury, both physical and psychological, and its effects on others as the soldiers fight the new battle for survival at home.

In partnership with The Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass Trust, The Royal British Legion and Defence Recovery Capability. The play will be supporting The Royal British Legion by raising funds at each performance.

G Live is a fully accessible venue.

Simply choose your own seats using our interactive seating plan.

IN PERSON The Ticket Desk is open Monday to Saturday 10am – 6pm, or until the show starts.

It opens 90 minutes before the performance on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

BY TELEPHONE Call our helpful Ticketing team on 0844 7701 797. Our lines are open Mon – Sat, 10am – 6pm.

PAYMENT We accept Visa, MasterCard,

Maestro and cash.

BOOKING FEES All ticket bookings made via our website, by phone or in person are subject to a £2 per ticket booking fee, capped at 6 tickets per transaction.

For certain performances, as indicated in this Brochure, the booking fee varies from the amount stated above, see specific shows.

Friends of G Live and groups of 8 minimum are exempt from paying booking fees (see specific show prices).

GROUP BOOKINGS Some shows offer special

group discounts. If you would like to bring a group of 8 or more to a show you can also benefit from no booking fees, plus we can reserve your tickets and hold payment for an agreed period. Please contact our friendly Ticket Desk on 0844 7701 797 for help with your booking.

CONCESSIONS For certain performances, discounts

are offered to make enjoying G Live more affordable for customers with a disability, over 60s, under 16s, those who are unwaged or in full-time education.

• Only one discount may apply to any one ticket, and appropriate ID verification may be required on request, especially for bookings made online.

• G Live offers complimentary tickets to carers who are essential to make your visit possible.

BABES IN ARMS For certain shows, infants under

two years may be accommodated on parents’ or guardians’ lap and no charge will be made. For children aged two and over, usual ticket prices and concessions will apply and a seat will be allocated.

G Live retains the right to exclude babes in arms from any performance.

YOUR DATA IS PROTECTED Your contact details will be held so that we can contact you if a performance is cancelled. With your permission, we would also like to be able to contact you about our future programme and special offers. Your contact details will not be shared with third parties.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW Tickets cannot

be exchanged or refunded, except on the rare occasion that a performance has to be cancelled or postponed. Where tickets are posted there is a £2 per transaction postage and handling charge. Ticket prices may be subject to change in line with the rate of VAT at the time of purchase.

Photography or video recordings of performances, including mobile telephone imaging, are not permitted. G Live reserves the right to introduce special offers which cannot be retrospectively applied to tickets already purchased. Discounts may be withdrawn at any time.

ACCESS FOR ALL

We aim to make our guests’ visit as comfortable as possible by offering the following: • 5 allocated car parking spaces for blue badge holders in the G Live car park.

• Space for up to 18 wheelchair users in the Main Hall.

• When bought alongside a full-price ticket, a complimentary ticket for accompanying carers who are essential for your visit. These are available over the phone or in person.

ID verification may be required.

• Sennheiser infra-red hearing system in Main Hall and Studio.

• Induction loop at ticketing desk.
