The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup marks a significant evolution in the tournament's history, expanding to 32 teams and being hosted in the United States for the first time. Scheduled from June 14 to July 13, 2025, this edition aims to bring together top clubs from all six confederations in a month-long competition.

Established in 2000, the FIFA Club World Cup traditionally featured a limited number of teams. The 2025 edition introduces a new format with 32 teams divided into eight groups of four, followed by knockout stages. This expansion aims to enhance global representation and competitiveness.
