IDEA & CONCEPT
The aim of the project is to create a new way of living in the Sabbioneta neighborhood while respecting the existing architecture. Sabbioneta is an ancient, ideal city built according to Renaissance principles. Its key features include a grid layout, fortified walls, orthogonal streets, and carefully planned perspectives. The project proposes a new way of living that incorporates diverse uses and users. The proposed new hotel is integrated with the ancient convent, creating multiple functions for different users, such as co-working spaces, exhibition rooms, a conference room, an auditorium, and a bar. This new intervention fosters a dynamic way of experiencing the city, inviting both tourists and local citizens to become active participants in the life of Sabbioneta.

The Old Navarino castle
PROJECT SPECIFICATION

Building : Fortress

IDEA & CONCEPT
This project aimed to enhance the ruins of the Old Navarino castle by conducting a quantitative survey, gathering historical information from libraries, museums, and online sources in Greece. Three distinct proposals subsequently emerged: a development plan for a new urban area, a comprehensive restoration and conservation management plan, and a strategic revitalization plan for the castle. The project proposes a comprehensive network that integrates principled agricultural production and a green corridor landscape connecting Pylos city with the castle. Emphasizing a commitment to conservation and preservation, the proposed design serves as a conduit for historical narratives, intending to evoke a diverse range of sensations that aid in the remembrance and understanding of the castle’s rich history, including the periods of the Frankish, Venetians, and Ottomans. The plan serves as a starting point, highlighting the collaboration between history and progress. It offers a blueprint for the conservation of other ancient castles in Greece and provides inspiration and reference for future preservation efforts.

IDEA & CONCEPT
The city of Mantova was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008, celebrated for its architectural treasures, Renaissance landscapes, and historical buildings. A defining element of its distinctive character is the prevalence of porticoes, which connect various units, establish entrance spaces, and provide shelter from adverse weather conditions. The new pavilion at the University introduces multiple purposes and functions to the Politecnico di Milano. Constructed with modern materials, it skillfully preserves the city’s unique character by emphasizing the iconic portico as a formative element that contributes to its identity.

Cultivation network

PROJECT SPECIFICATION
Client Name : University of Buenos Aires - D. Miranda and E. Alvarez
Location: Pinamar, Argentina
Date : 2018
Building : Dwellings
Skills : Site Analysis, Design, Conceptualization, Material Selection and Urban Planning
Software Tools : AutoCad, Photoshop, Sketchup and V-Ray

IDEA & CONCEPT
The proposal outlines a comprehensive transformation of the Pinamar sector, an old golf course in the Buenos Aires coastal area. Spanning approximately 24 hectares, the former golf area is designated to become a green reserve of considerable environmental and scenic value for the municipality. The intervention plan advocates phased construction by a private company, introducing short-term developments such as a cultural center, a restaurant, shops, and hotels for leasing. Orchards will supply the restaurant and market, followed by a focus on continued residential and commercial construction in the medium term. In the long term, new houses will be constructed. The project also introduces a “Crops Walk” and a lagoon for irrigation, creating a varied landscape and connecting the seaside walk to the city through intertwined layers. The landscape intervention aims to restore the concept of the old Pinamar as a seaside resort, harmonizing with the new architecture and forested landscape.

IDEA & CONCEPT
Ansa reimagines the traditional retail space by transforming it into a multifunctional, community-focused destination. The design integrates areas for leisure, shopping, and wellness into a cohesive urban landscape, where flexible zones, open circulation paths, and communal nodes invite interaction and engagement. By blending sustainable materials with thoughtful spatial organization, Ansa becomes an architectural anchor that supports local initiatives and elevates the role of retail within the broader urban fabric, fostering social cohesion and well-being.
At its core, Ansa transforms traditional retail into a retail park, where shopping goes beyond commercial activity to become a catalyst for community engagement and urban regeneration. By blending shopping, recreation, and relaxation, the space fosters participation and connection, creating an environment where people can recharge and thrive together. Ansa redefines the retail experience, turning it into a dynamic space where architecture and community coexist in harmony.
