Compensatory Time

At Grand Traverse County, eligible employees may elect compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime It has been discovered after moving to Workday that some employees are over in their maximum amount of compensatory time allowed Therefore, if you are over your allowable amount as of the May 12, 2023, pay, GTC will be paying the overage on the May 26, 2023, paycheck

Going forward, when you convert your overtime hours to compensatory time, Workday will give you an alert in your timesheet, when your compensatory time bank is nearing your threshold for allotted time If you are over your allotted amount of compensatory time Workday will pay you out that amount in your next scheduled pay
