Have you checked out GTCU? County employees now have access to a wide variety of training materials for onboarding, Microsoft 365 and myGTC. GTCU is housed in SharePoint, and can be accessed here. FACILITIES MASTER PLAN (FMP)

The Grand Traverse County / City of Traverse City Facilities Master Plan (FMP) project kicked off two weeks ago with an introductory presentation to department managers from our consultants at TowerPinkster They then conducted facility assessment walk-throughs on March 23 and 24th at the following buildings --

Governmental Center, Jail, Front Street Offices (MSU Extension and Commission on Aging), Prosecutor’s Office, the Health Services Building and the Public Services Building.

What's Happening Now?

Facility assessment walk-throughs for the rest of our buildings will happen during the month of April.

What to know:

Teams including Joe Berry, Chris Forsyth and our experts at TowerPinkster will be walking through each facility to gather baseline assessments of what currently exists There is no need for you to be present during these walk-throughs, however it would be helpful to have all office spaces as accessible as possible during your scheduled time Schedules for the tours will be shared in advance with department managers

What's up next?

Once the walkthroughs are complete, we will be reaching out to schedule conversations with each department to gather more information in the coming weeks.
