An excellent turnout of 86 alumni and their wives and guests were on hand to greet Coach Frank Broyles at the March 20th dinner meeting of the Nashville Georgia Tech Club. Coach Broyles' talk on "Tech and the New Rule" was well received by the group as was the "Highlights of '52," movie. Honor guests at the meeting were the parents of present and future Tech students from the Nashville area including Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gookin, Mr. and Mrs. Gray Potter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gossage and Mrs. Volkert. ORLANDO, FLORIDA Twenty members of the Orlando Georgia Tech Club turned out the night of March 16th to hear Registrar Carmichael speak on the Institute. Mr. Carmichael filled the members in on goings on at the "flats" and the latest building plans for Tech. A showing of the "Highlights of '52" closed out the evening's entertainment. During the short business meeting, the club's constitution was adopted and the following officers were elected for the year: President, J. A. Riviere, '26; Vice-President, Harold E. Nabell, '29, and S e c r e t a r y - T r e a s u r e r , Amos S. Brim, '17. CHARLOTTE, N. C. notice to hear the popular Tech Coach speak on "Football and Georgia Tech." The dinner meeting was held at Thackers Restaurant in Charlotte and included a business meeting followed by Tonto's talk and narration of the "Sugar Bowl" films. During the business meeting, Bill Terrell gave a report of the Special Projects Committee, one of the most active committees in the club. Their assignment is to interest Charlotte area boys of high calibre in attending Tech. To this end they have brought a goodly number of boys to Atlanta for special events at Tech and to show them the school. The next meeting of this club will be their annual two-day outing to be held J u n e 5-6 at the Mill Power Supply Company's Bridgewater Club House in Marion, N. C.

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. Self introductions and minute autobiographies by all present were the features of the annual spring meeting of the Georgia Tech Club of Philadelphia which was held at the University Club in the "City of Brotherly Love." After the dinner, talks and business meeting, the club members and their guests enjoyed the "Highlights" movie. The program proved to be one of the most successful ones put on by the Philly club and brought out more than the usual number of newcomers.

1953-54 OFFICERS Ivan Allen, Jr., '33, will head the National Alumni Association for the coming fiscal year. Serving with Ivan will be John Staton, '22, Vice-Pres.; Dave Arnold, '18, Vice-Pres.-at-Large and Paul Duke, '45, Treas. The new officers elected by your ballot will take over their duties on July 1, 1953.
