Got Questions?
NECESSITY GRANT FAQS!
Who can use the Necessity Grant?
The Necessity Grant is open to all GSP students (that's you) year-round!
What can I use it for?
Anything outside of items factored into your cost of attendance that you'd classify as an emergency expense! It can cover costs including tutoring, counseling, medical bills, & groceries during breaks. First-year specific grants include winter coats, summer storage, and travel home for some breaks!
How do I apply for a grant?
Find detailed instructions here & remember, WHEN IN DOUBT, APPLY! It never hurts to ask for help & you don't need to ask for permission to submit an application! We communicate grant decisions within a 1-3 week period.
