Camp Cleawox Do you hear that sound? Adventure on the Oregon Coast is calling! Camp Cleawox is all about sand, surf and sun as girls discover swimming, kayaking, canoeing and the wonder of the Pacific Ocean. What will the tidepools hold today? How will we decorate our sand castle? Who will be the Ga-ga ball champion? At this magical lakeside camp, girls decide!

Camp Arrowhead The sun is rising over the Columbia River Gorge and it’s time to start the day at Camp Arrowhead! What will girls do today? Maybe they’ll create their masterpiece at the art hut. Maybe they’ll challenge their way to the top of the climbing wall. Maybe they’ll catch the view at the top of Dog Mountain, and then finish the day swimming with Pond Turtles on Home Lake or in the newly renovated swimming inds gW pool. Whatever they choose, fun is sure to follow!

Camp Whispering Winds The summer breeze blows softly over canoes docked at Lake of the Winds as girls get ready for a day of fun! At Camp Whispering Winds, there’s so much to choose from: spend time with the horses or go for a trail ride, splash and lounge at the hillside pool, play meadow games, or search for the source of a babbling stream. Finish your day with a campfire song as the sun sets over the beatiful central Willamette Valley!

STEP 2 - Register for Camp There are many ways to register for camp, and we’re here to help you through the process! Here are the basics you need to know: Make sure you’re a registered member of Girl Scouts. You can register as a member online at girlscoutsosw.org, or by checking the “Annual Membership Dues” box on your Summer Resident Camp Registration form. Annual membership dues are $15. Register for your preferred resident camp session. You can register online at girlscoutsosw.org or by using the Summer Resident Camp Registration form on Page 4. Please use a paper form if you plan to pay for camp with Cookie/Nut Credit, as it cannot be accepted online. If you choose to use a paper form, you can return it by email to events@girlscoutsosw.org, by fax to 503-892-7619 or by mail to Attn: Girl Scouts OSW Resident Camp, 9620 SW Barbur Blvd., Portland, Oregon 97219. Once we have received your registration and deposit, you will be notified via email from noreply@zeus.uapps.net (or by mail if no email is available) with a camper confirmation. This confirmation will include a link to our website (girlscoutsosw.org) where you can find camp and program information, a packing list, driving directions (password included in confirmation), and a list of forms to be completed and returned within three weeks of the start of your session. 1

Medical/Dietary Accommodations

We want to help your girl have a GREAT time at camp! Understanding your girl’s needs before she arrives will help us provide her with the best possible camp experience. Please be sure to list any medical conditions, special needs, allergies and dietary restrictions on your Health History/Camper Release Form, and contact us ahead of camp to discuss accommodations needed.

Camp with a Friend

Camping with a friend can be a lot of fun! When two girls want to attend a program together, they must each register for the same camp session & program, and should each indicate that they want to be “buddies” on their registration form. Both girls must meet the grade requirements for the program. Registering as “buddies” ensures campers will sleep in the same dwelling, however they will still be encouraged to get to know other girls in the unit and may not always be in the same day/activity group. Buddy groups of more than two may not be accommodated.

Trading Post

The trading post (camp store) will be at resident camp this year! Packages will be available for pre-order and merchandise will also be available for campers to purchase while at camp. Money for packages and camper trading post accounts must be paid (via the Resident Camp Additional Payment Form) two weeks prior to the camper arriving at camp. See camper packet for details.

Camp Open Houses

Join us at camp to tour the facilities! Counselors, health staff and food service staff will be on hand to answer your questions. Register for open house sessions online at girlscoutsosw.org. Camp Date Time Contact Arrowhead June 20 1 - 4 p.m. (800) 338-5248 Cleawox June 20 1 - 4 p.m. (800) 338-5248 Whispering Winds June 20 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (800) 338-5248
