Annual Meeting & Adult Recognition Events

We held our 15th Annual Meeting virtually via Zoom on May 11, 2022. At the meeting, new GSNNJ Board members and Girl Representatives were sworn into office. Our Mission Moment speaker for the evening was Gold Award Girl Scout Valencia Julien from Morristown, who eloquently told the story of the inspiration for her Gold Award project, which addressed the issue of Alzheimer’s awareness and education for children.

The 2022 Adult Recognition Event was held in September at The Cosmopolitan in Wayne. We are so grateful for our volunteers and we were happy to be able to celebrate their accomplishments in-person once again with over 200 volunteers and staff in attendance.

Women of Achievement

Women of Achievement 2022, our largest fundraiser of the year, was celebrated at the Westmount Country Club on April 6, 2022. There were more than 320 guests in attendance and an active silent auction online. The event raised over $200,000 to help expand the impact and reach of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience in northern New Jersey.
