Page 1

Girl Scout Week 2024 Girl Scout Week is celebrated each March, starting with Girl Scout Sunday, and ending with Girl Scout Sabbath on a Saturday, and it always includes Girl Scouts’ birthday, March 12. This year it runs from March 10 through March 16. Girl Scouts was founded in 1912, and continues a mission that builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Girl Scout Week 2024 is based upon the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Girl Scouts of all ages recite—and live by—the ideals listed in the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Complete at least 14 activities to earn your Girl Scout Week patch, which may be purchased at the GSNC Shop upon completion. Patches will be available for purchase at the GS Shop the week after GS Week for $2 each.
