Most Popular STEM Badge for Daisy Girl Scouts: Craft and Tinker
In Girl Scouts, girls experience science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging activities that relate to their interests to impact the world.
Our programs give girls training, mentoring, and hands-on experiences to help them understand the value of STEM to society and the options for their own related career paths. Girls see how STEM activities and careers are relevant to them through
engaging activities like building a robot to solve problems in Robotics, programming an avatar in Digital Game Design to help their community, and using shapes and numbers to create natureinspired art in the Math in Nature badges.

All Girl Scouts have access to experiences that build leadership, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset. They gain the confidence to take risks, the skills to shape their own future, and the drive to make a difference.
Yet, financial literacy is often overlooked in traditional education. Many parents struggle to discuss money, schools don’t always teach it effectively, and most programs start too late—despite experts saying money habits form as early as age seven.
Girl Scouts bridges this gap with hands-on financial empowerment and entrepreneurship programming for all
ages, from kindergartners to high school seniors. Through events, troop activities, and camp programs, girls develop critical money habits, confidence, and business skills that benefit them for life.
Participating in the cookie program empowers Girl Scouts’ adventures throughout the year as they learn key skills to excel in future careers and in life. Through using different sales methods, Girl Scouts gain people skills, learn to set goals, make smart decisions, and more. Girl Scouts, like all entrepreneurs, are always coming up with new and innovative ways to reach additional customers and market their businesses.
Behind every Girl Scout are family members, teachers, and Girl Scout volunteers, ready with encouragement, belief, and support. Our mission cannot be fulfilled without the time, talents, and efforts invested by our 1,407 volunteers for the benefit of every girl served. In April, GSEOK leadership was thrilled to recognize the service of some of our most dedicated volunteers.
