Amanda Murtha, 2006 BS Chemistry graduate recently received the NASA Agency Honor Award Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal: Amanda Murtha, Langley Research Center.

Georgia Southern had 4 students representing the chemistry program at the 50th annual National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers meeting in New Orleans Louisiana Sept. 10-14. Laura Echezabal (Georgia Southern) and Carter Rodgers, Rachel Watne and James Tucker (ICEMITURE& Summer Research Students)all did research at GS and in Lorraine, France this summer in our funded programs.
