Georgia Southern Research Complex- Issue 1
Activity at the Georgia Southern Research Complex at Savannah is ready to move forward. This is the old Georgia Bureau of Investigations complex on Mohawk Street near the Armstrong Campus (basically across Abercorn Street from campus).Renovations for the Institute for Water and Health are nearly complete. In addition, efforts are under way to open a block of faculty research laboratories in the complex. The space will be open to faculty with grant funded research requiring wet lab space-hoods, benches, etc. I have requested space for four COSM faculty researchers in the facility. These research labs will be critical as part of COSM’s research growth and expansion plans. If you have any questions about the Savannah Research Complex, please reach out to Dr. Huggins or your respective department chair.
