Kudos - Issue 7

The Eagle Battalion donned special shirts for October and hosted a special PT day with a game of football to raise awareness to breast cancer. Proceeds from t-shirt sales will benefit those who have been affected by breast cancer.

Dr. Aaron Schrey (Biology) has been awarded the Impact Area Accelerator Grant for his project on “Epigenetic investigation of resilience of American Alligators to habitat change” has been selected as one of the three funded Impact Accelerator Projects!“

TERPS has had a great month sharing the message about terrapin conservation with Georgia Southern students and the Savannah community.

ROTC had a very successful Blood Drive. Both the Statesboro and Armstrong Campuses hosted blood drives to close out October. The events combined for a total of 185 units of blood donated!
