Thursday Activities Junior Gardeners - winter Offered by: Lynn Prosen Grade Level(s): 1 – 4 No. of Sessions: 6 Location: Room 108 Dates: Jan. 14 – Feb. 18 Time: 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Cost per student: $325 Did you know that soil is made of different things? Did you know that there are good and bad insects in a garden? Did you know that some plants can take over 100 days to grow? We will learn about these things and more in the Junior Garden Growers (JGG). As a part of this program, you will help to prepare seeds and plants for the GSB Community Garden. Each JGG member will get a garden tool kit, a seed starter kit (which we will start under the grow lights or in the greenhouse), and will help to plan a special JGG raised bed in the garden.

Learn soccer in a safe and fun-filled environment. Lego Architects - winter Offered by: Enrich & Grow Academy Grade Level(s): PK - K Location: Evans Hall Dates: Jan. 14 – Feb. 18 Time: 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Cost per student: $270 Min. / max. enrollment 7/20 Are you crazy about building with LEGOs? Come build with us and keep the Lego sets you work on!

We will focus on basic architectural building, creative design and different educational themes. We offer a huge selection of models with many of the latest released themes. Chess - spring Offered by: Marty Sobin of Jersey Chess Grade Level(s): 1 – 4 No. of Sessions: 6 Location: Evans Hall Dates: April 7 – May 26 Time: 3:00 – 4:15 p.m. Cost per student: $225 Learn to play the wonderful and fun game of chess at the “GSB Chess Club.” The program will not only teach you all the rules of the game, but also give you an idea of how to go about winning your game from the opening to the end game. If you already know how to play, your game will improve through competitive play, puzzles and instruction tactics and strategies. Some students will be invited to play outside tournaments and events.

Girls will be exposed to the sport of lacrosse, develop skills through drills Snakes-N-Scales presents Animal and fun activities. Former college All-Stars, a brand new series of after- coach and current GSB Varsity school animal programs where we will Head Coach, Janet Holdsworth, has look at and compare some amazing developed a youth curriculum that is groups of animals.
